ABOUT
4
Cultivate change is a database created to compile all of the resources being shared on the internet from the Black Lives Matter movement.
5
There are many posts recommending things to read, watch, listen to, where to donate, who to buy from, and more being shared.
6
And this spreadsheet aims to bring all of these scattered sources together in one place for quick and easy access.
7
Because liking a post that recommends "13 books to read by black authors" is great, but it will often get drowned by other posts along the way.
8
This spreadsheet aims to be a place for people who would like to bring more diversity into their lives in one way or another - and is by no means a final source.
9
This is just the beginning of the journey. Hopefully, the information found on this spreadsheet will inspire you to branch out on your own too.
10
I'll try to update the list on a regular basis, so please send more suggestions and comments through. Thank you.

DISCLAIMER
13
This is a list of resources that were already shared by POC online.
14
I don't have any ownership of the work already done by them to compile it.
15
I'm just here, copy and pasting from posts I've seen on the internet. And adding links / bios where needed.

17
AN INTRODUCTORY HAIKU
18
We all start somewhere.
19
Change takes time just like a seed
20
you're ready to be cultivated.
21
22
THE ABOUT SECTION, BUT WITH MORE PIZAZZ
23
STEP 1. SOIL
24
Just like seeds, surround yourself with nourishing soil.
25
If your soil is stagnant, it will lack nourishment.
26
There are different methods to stir your soil up to oxygenate the ground and introduce new nutrients.
27
28
STEP 2. WATER
29
Water your seedling often and on a regular basis for best growth.
30
Scattered information can be a cause of overwatering. Saving hundreds of posts on your social media archives will cause overwatering.
31
And never opening these sources will cause underwatering and drying out.
32
33
STEP 3. SUN
34
Your seedling will need the sun to finalise it's growth.
35
The amount of sun your seedling needs will differ depending on it's species.
36
Some seedlings will want to be out in the sun and openly speaking out about racism on a daily basis.
37
Other seedlings will want less exposure, but they will still be growing their roots underground and speaking out when provoked.
38
Both seedlings are valid.
39
40
STEP 4. FLOWER AND PROPAGATE
41
Before you know it, your seedling will become a plant.
42
It will have a strong stem, an elongated root system, and will be filled with branches, leaves, and flowers.
43
Some plants will need to be pollinated by other's ideas to create fruits.
44
Others will be able to propagate and create new plants from their own ideas.
45
46
STEP 5. FERTILIZER
47
Take care and don't forget to fertilize your plant.
48
Fertilizer will introduce new ideas into your soil and help keep the nourishment levels high.
49
Your plant will love fertilizer and will grow stronger and faster with the right recipe.
