Attn. Juniors and seniors: The 2018 Leelanau County Prom is Saturday April 21st from 8-12pm. Tickets will go on sale at lunch on Thursday April 19th. There will be a table at lunch for you to purchase tickets. Senior‘s tickets are free but you must still have a ticket. All guest must be pre-approved. Tickets are $20.00/person.

HS students are needed to help with the elementary carnival on May 11th. Set up help begins at 3:00 pm. Carnival game supervision is 5-8 pm. Clean up crew would be 7:45-? If you are interested and can help, please see Mrs. LaPaugh in room 121.

Registration forms for the dodgeball tournment taking place on Saturday, April 28th are available in the high school office. This tournament is sponsored by the Student Council and all proceeds go to the Lymphoma/Leukemia Society. The cost is $7.00 per team and should contain six members. Other schools have been invited to participate.

All juniors and seniors please check your email for a VERY brief survey to elect 2 seniors to represent Glen Lake for the Leelanau County 2018 Prom Court. This survey will only be open until Thursday April 19th at 3:10pm.

Mrs. Okerlund and Mrs. Walker are accepting writing and art work submissions for Glen Lake’s Splash publication. Deadline to turn in your pieces is Friday, April 27th. Each student may submit up tp four total pieces of work. Exposure submissions are automatically considered for Splash.

The sophomore class is sponsoring a Fun Run on Saturday, May 5th. The walk/run will take place at Glen Lake with registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the race beginning at 10:00 a.m. The cost to participate is $25 for adults and $15 for students. Please register by Thursday, April 12th to ensure you get a tshirt.

Drivers Ed: Segment 1 will be offerred at Glen Lake beginning June 13. If you are 14 yrs and 8 months old by the first day of class, you are eligible to sign up. The cost is $305 and this includes Segment 2. More information is posted on the board outside of the HS Office.

The lost and found will be going to Goodwill on April 25th. Please check it if you are missing anything!

Any one interested in participating in a campus Earth Day Clean up on Monday, April 23 (from 11:45am to noon) see Mrs. Richard to sign up for the event. Sign up by the end of the day on Friday, April 20

FOOTBALL BOOT CAMP MEETING: If you are intersted in attending football boot camp this summer, please attend a meeting with Coach Wright on Monday, April 23rd at lunch in Mrs. Wassa's.Room. Paperwork will be handed out for boot camp. Get your lunch and report to Mrs. Wassa's room.

Desserts and coffee will be provided. Admission is free. We hope you join us for an evening of great music and tasty treats!
