Please be sure that your clothing choices are appropriate for school. If a staff member has concerns about the appropriateness of your clothing, please comply to add more or remove offending choices. Keep it clean, keep it covered and lose the hoods. Be smart and make good decisions, friends!

Congratulations to the following student artists who were selected to show in the "Who owns the water" student exhibition at GAAC: Isaac Sterzer, Mkenzi Bowens, Jon Popp, Sam Garvin, Rebecca Nowicki and Tommy Reay.

Congratulations are in order for choir members of North By Northwest and Middle School Choir. Both ensembles performed well at District Choral Festival and did some of their best work in the sight reading room. For the second time in Glen Lake history, Middle School Choir has qualified for State Choral Festival. The ensemble will travel to Central Michigan University in May to perform at States. Congratulations to both ensembles for a job well done!

Buy your 2020 Yearbook now please! We need to know how many to order before we leave for break. Bring a check for $45 to Ms. Wiesen in Room 204 or to the HS office if you would like a yearbook. The list posted in the hall shows who has already purchased a yearbook. Check the list if you are unsure.

Senior Scholarship Opportunity from the Leelanau County Prospectors Club. Five $2000. Must be resident of Leelanau County. The recipients will be chosen following individual inerviews by an independent Selection Committee on the basis of: scholastic achievement, community involvement/extra curricular activities, financial need, application and personal interview. Applications in the Counseling Office. Deadline is April 13

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY FROM THE JOHNSON FOUNDATION for Leelanau, Benzie and Grand Traverse County residents at least three of the four years in high school. Applications are in the Guidance Office. Half of their scholarships are awarded to specific 4-H participants; the other half to little or no 4-H experience. Financial Need preference. Deadline is May 15.

SING & STRUM CLUB: Do you have a guitar or ukulele? Learn or share your talent! Join Linda in the Choir Room on Thursdays from 3:15 until 4:00pm. All Students grades 4-12 and staff members are welcome. If you have your own instrument, bring it. If you don't have a ukulele or guitar, we have some you can play. See Linda or Mrs. Larimer-Kelly for more information.
