Dress Code Reminders: Tank tops are permitted, but undergarments should never be visible. Cut-out shirts are allowed only in athletic environments at the discretion of the coach/ teacher. Pants, shorts, and skirts must be of a style and worn in a manner where undergarments cannot be seen. The wearing of sunglasses and/or hoods is prohibited. The wearing of hats in classrooms is left to the discretion of individual teachers.

Students, please return library books by Tuesday, May 29. This also includes all college textbooks. Thank you.

Seniors - all textbooks, technology and library materials should be returned by Friday, May 25th to avoid any fees.

May 25th, at 10am, there is a cancer walk. The cost is $5.00, but donations are welcome (even if you are not walking). Wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes! All proceeds will go to a local family! Sign up in the office by May 24th. Meet outside the high school office at 9:45am on May 25th.

Students: Please check out the "yearbook purchase list" that is on display throughout the high school. If you are on that list, you will be able to pick up your yearbook at Lakerfest. If you are not on the list, 44 yearbooks will be available for purchase during Lakerfest. They are $45 and may run out quickly, so get in line as soon as Lakerfest begins. Pre-sales are no longer available.

There will be an optional Farmer's Market for interested students on Friday, May 25th. This will be open to high school students between 11:00 & 11:30 am. If you are interested in making a purchase, please let your 3rd hour teacher know.

During Lakerfest, May 25, there will be a variety of yard games, organized activities and a bounce house. There will also be a dunk tank that various teachers will be participating in.

Seniors-Please check your My Lakers email account regarding an upcoming senior class picture. This email also contains a lunch order form that requires your response.

CTC Track Student-athletes will NOT report to CTC on Tuesday and should report to Media Center until your 12:45 dismissal.

Drivers Ed: Segment 1 will be offerred at Glen Lake beginning June 19. If you are 14 yrs and 8 months old by the first day of class, you are eligible to sign up. The cost is $305 and this includes Segment 2. More information is posted on the board outside of the HS Office.

SPRING CHOIR CONCERT - The Spring Concert will take place in the auditeria on Thursday, May 24th at 6:30pm. All of the Glen Lake Choirs will perform and the concert will also feature select soloists. The music will range from traditional choral repertoire to current pop hits, from rap to girlpower disco ballads. The concert will also feature student instrumentalists including body percussion, African drumming, and guitar. Admission is free. It is sure to be a fantastic concert!

SENIORS ONLY – The exam policy states that seniors may be exempt from second semester exams for any class period based on the following 2nd semester attendance criteria:
--Four (4) or fewer absences (UNV, EXA, FAM, ILL) during the class period.
--Three (3) or fewer tardies (TDY, XTY, EXT) during the class period.
If you would like to check your current attendance counts, please see Mrs. Shimek or
Mrs. Fosmore in the office.

NHS members- Seniors need to hand in their NHS volunteer log sheet to Mrs. Richard by Thursday, May 24th. All other members need to turn in their NHS volunteer log sheet by Friday, June 1, 2018

Attn. 7th graders: If you did not already select your elective choice for next school year please come see Mrs. Onthank ASAP. I will assist you in completing this process.

Current 7th graders interested in playing football next fall, please come to the media center during lunch on May 23rd for a meeting with Coach Sneed regarding this summer's schedule for the upcoming football season. The meeting will not take up the entire lunch period.
