In start-ups, family-owned enterprises, or in businesses with years or decades of operations behind them, policies and procedures can cause active harm to existing or potential new clients, employees, and business partners. We'll begin with a review of Jones and Okun's 2001 article "The characteristics of White Supremacy Culture," unpacking how it relates to the ongoing and challenging issues of the present day. Then through personal writing and reflection, we'll address how to see, analyze, and interrupt unintentionally oppressive practices that can threaten workplace culture and our relationships with employees, business partners, and clients.WMass SCORE https://westernmassachusetts.score.org/
