Ryan Payne, President, called the meeting to order in the Board Room of the

Administration Building. Recognition of Ron Atkins for his service and dedication to the Board.

Ron passed away on October 28, 2021.

Appointment of new Board Member, Janie Alexander, she will replace Ron Atkins who passed
16
away October 28, 2021. Janie will serve the remainder of Ron's term which runs through
17
the end of 2024. Vote 4/0

a.Teacher Contract Ratification 2021 - 2022 $1,450.00 for all teachers to the base and

$250 - $12,050.00 to the base and catch up to the hiring grid. 2022 - 2023 all teachers will

receive $500.00 to the base. This is a two year contract. (Morris/Deaton) Vote 4/0

b.Non-Certified Staff Pay Increase - All non-certified will get a 6% pay increase that will be
52
retroactive back to July 1, 2021. All non-certified staff will receive an additional 2% pay
53
increase starting July 1, 2022. (Hall/Morris) Vote 4/0

c.Transportation Director, Kevin Lewis will go from hourly to salary. (Hall/Deaton) Vote 4/0

d.COVID Plan Update - The Board gives the Superintendent authority to end /continue
