I am reaching out today to request that you please ask Chair Aaron Michlewitz [pronounced "Michael-wits"] and the House Ways & Means Committee to strengthen Sections 74 and 75 of the Mass Ready Act (S3064) by including the language from H5217 (sponsored by Rep. Hawkins) which would phase out the use of anticoagulant rodenticides statewide.
These rodent poisons cause needless suffering and death to thousands of wildlife and hundreds of pets in Massachusetts every year. Please reach out to Chair Michlewitz soon and help protect our state’s wildlife, pets, and people from these dangerous poisons.
