Iowa Financial Know-How ChallengeIowa Student Loan will award 30 Iowa high school seniors each $2,000 to use for their fall 2017 college expenses. Siegfried Petersen ScholarshipThe recipient shall be a person who shows a desire to improve his or her station in life through education and would return those benefits to the community. It is not necessary that the recipient be a top scholar or athlete. He or she should be a good citizen who expresses a desire to lead a life of service to our community and our country. Mount Mercy Catherine McAuley Scholarship ProgramThe Catherine McAuley scholarship provides free tuition to Iowa students whose family income is $45,000 or less annually. These scholarships are renewable for up to four years. To be eligible, students simply need to be an Iowa resident and graduate from an Iowa high school, be admitted as a new freshmen to Mt. Mercy, reside all four year on Mt. Mercy's campus during the academic year, file the FAFSA prior to July 1st that shows family income of $45,000 or less and Pell Grant eligibility.
