10	DRD	23/3/2021	1430	Tooting common, under the railway bridge leading to junction of Emmanuel & Ferlea Rds	I had 3 dogs on the ground and 1 elderly in a buggy, which I know they love to target. I also carry a rucksack that they like, which I am going to stop. When the man came up very close one of the dogs moved strangely and it tapped my foot, which caused me to check what was going on and the man was there pretending to tie his shoe right behind me. Then, 2 other men who were walking behind (one of them oddly well-dressed, I imagine to appear more trustworthy) tried to dismiss my concerns and said nothing happened. I didn't believe him and watched them, and they all met up shortly after.	The well dressed one appeared asian. I don't have any idea what language they spoke to each other. The one who attempted it was thinner, the other walking behind was stocky. All looked in their 20s/early 30s and had darker skin and dark hair. The well dressed one was in an all royal blue suit (yes, it was an odd colour suit). Others were in trainers, normal clothes and jackets. All had shortish dark hair.	No

Got clear images of the pair from behind from a passer-by (the men far left and far right of this pic), reported to police, and they're checking CCTV to get facial images.		Yes	0305016/21
12	DRD	1/2/2021	17.30	Where Balham Hill turns into Balham High Rd	Had dog in buggy and 2 on the ground, wearing rucksack, just as it was getting dark. Man came up behind me outside the Kostless 24 Hr Food and Wine shop and I felt him touch my rucksack. I whipped round and he pretended to be playing on his phone waiting outside the shop. Another guy then came up and they spoke to each other. Further down, they waited for me outside the Devonshire while I talked with another dog owner on the pavement. Then, just before I turned up Ormeley Rd he tried again, this time getting my rucksack open outside the Balham Beds shop. I shouted at him and he ran up Ormeley Rd and stopped, playing on his phone again. I told him to leave as he was not going to be walking behind me on my way up that road. He spoke Spanish to me then, saying something, followed by "por favor", when I was saying about calling the police. I did then call them and when he saw me on the phone he ran away towards Clapham Common. Police came and the nice man at Kostless was going to provide them with CCTV of the guys. They said they would look for the men, but I was not optimisitc they would be caught. Didn't hear anything after.	Both men were darker skinned, dark hair, dark clothes. Not sure what language they spoke to one another, but used phones to pretend they weren't doing anything wrong. The one who attempted was not tall - maybe 5"7', had on a dark canvas type jacket, and was thin. The other was a bit larger build but wasn't around much. At the end the one who attempted to get into my bag said, "Por Favor," which implies Spanish, but could have been a further ruse...	Yes
13	EM	23/3/21	15.00	Emmanuel Road along side Tooting common	I am was on my own pushing my 2week old son in a pram along Emmanuel Rd next to tooting common, when a male came up behind me, so close he was touching the eft side of my body causing me to spin round and remonstrate with him for coming so close. He walked past me and a second male came close to me then followed the first male. They both crossed the road into radborne road. I did not realise at the time but they had stolen my mob out of my jacket pocket.	Male 1 Asian, 5ft 7 ish, black hair, dark coat. That little path next to the pond connecting two larger paths	I believe my phone in my pocket, they failed I was walking with my pram and felt someone too close behind me. When I turned, one guy kneeled down behind me, 2 others standing. I screamed at them and one said sorry. They turned around and walked the opposite direction, apologising again. They were well dressed, one in blue outfit. Probably early 20’s, dark hair, spoke with accent		Yes	None. Told to be more careful

I was on the phone at the time (via wireless headphones) and someone took it from my coat pocket. It was so quick that I didn't see who did it but I have subsequently seen three shifty looking men hanging around the common in that same area. I got the impression this thief had deliberately targeted me because they could see I was a distracted mum.		yes
