Help Me Grow is the link that helps families connect to services in the community, but does not provide direct service. The service is provided for ages 0-8 connecting developmental, learning or behavior resources for children in OC. They provide the caller with information and referrals on resources that are available at low or no cost. Services Include; Child Care Toolkit, Developmental Screening Network, Healthcare and Service Providers. Health Insurance may be required depending on situation. This service is not limited to children with special needs. Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday. Messages can be left 24 hours a day seven days a week.

Children's ages 0-8 and their families who are at risk for developing mental illness due to social/emotional deficits or who are displaying early signs of emotional, behavioral, and/or mental instability that would impair the child's ability to successfully transition and participate in school. Languages Offered: English, Spanish, Arabic, Korean, Farsi and Vietnamese. Mandarin partially available. School Readiness services are provided by The Priority Center and Children’s Bureau programs. These programs serve families with children from birth to age 8 who are exhibiting behavioral problems and emotional distress which puts them at increased risk of developing mental illness and failing in school. Services include; developmental screenings, Children & Family Needs Assessment, Case Management, Connection to Community Services, and Outreach and Training. This program works to address mental, emotional and behavioral health needs during the early years. Provides a variety of evidence based mental health treatment services from flagship Parent-Child Interaction of trauma, or significant cognitive or behavioral health challenges, and their impact on children youth and families.Services include: Child Guidance Center, Mental Health Services, SFSC Military Families, and SFSC-E Academy, Play Therapy, Positive Parenting Training, Professional Training and Consultations, School and Medical Professional Consultations, Social/Behavioral Skills Therapy, Evaluation and Crisis Intervention, and Individual, Family and Group Support Therapy. The Providence Speech and Hearing Center is a provider to the speech and hearing impaired of Orange County with a variety of specialists. They offer a variety of speech and hearing services and adults alike. Accepting of most major insurance companies and medical groups, and provide grants, scholarships, and financing options for patients from low-income families. Services Include; Audiology and Hearing Aids, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy for Children, Implants, Prevention and Balance services. Their motto says " We don't turn anyone away. Ever." There is no cost to participate in the program as services are funded by Mental Health Services Act (Proposition 63). Program services are provided at both their office location and wherever a client lives (home, apartment, shelter, etc.) within Orange County. The Orange County Parent Wellness Program offers eligibility and needs assessment, individual therapy, family psychoeducation, psychoeducational support groups, wellness activities, case management, coordination and linkage to community resources, onsite supervision of minors when clients are receiving clinic services, and community outreach and education. The Orange County Parent Wellness Program has been expanded to specialize in supporting families with children under the age of 18. This includes pregnant females and partners affected by the pregnant or birth of a child within the past 12 months, families that have been reported to Child Protective Services for allegations of child abuse or neglect or families with a young child between the ages of 0 and 8 years who are exhibiting behavioral symptoms that may be negatively impacting their readiness for school. Services include screening and needs assessments of the family, clinical case management, individual counseling, family collateral services, parent education, psycho-educational support groups, referrals and linkages to community resources and community education on Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders.The program provides prevention and early intervention services to expectant and new parents, during pregnancy or within 12 months of having a child. Youth, women, and men served by OCPWP are experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety and/or depression which are attributable to either the current pregnancy or the recent birth of their child. Program services are provided at both their office location and wherever a client lives (home, apartment, shelter, etc.) within Orange County.Hurtt Family Health Clinic provides highly accessible, preventative, primary and specialized healthcare to homeless and underserved families through multiple full service medical, dental, vision, mental health, chiropractic, and health education facilities. Hurtt Family Health Clinic has three fixed clinic sites and is a low-cost, family primary care clinic that serves individuals by appointment and on a walk-in basis. Services include: well-baby and well-child checkups, well-woman exams and clinical breast exams, physical examinations, management and treatment of diabetes and chronic illness, provision of medication when applicable, low cost referrals for specialized needs, and patient education classes including chronic illness management, personal hygiene, and nutrition. The Clinic also contains a laboratory where patients can receive immunizations and vaccines.
