It contains information and statistics on the UBC SCIENCE 2nd year specialization admissions process from 2015-2020.

Definitions:
Space - Max number of admissions each year for a program
Initial Admit Number - Number of students admitted in round 1 of admissions
Initial Reject Number - Number of students rejected in round 1 of admissions who did meet the course prereqs but failed to meet the grade cutoff
Final Admit Number - Final number of 2nd year students who enter a specialization in a given year. Students who take leave are not counted
Max Grade - The highest average recieved by a student admitted into a specialization in a given year
Min Grade - The lowest averge recieved by a student admitted into a specialization in a given year
Umbrella - For CPSC, MATH, and STAT releated specializations, there is a cap on the number of seats for all specialzations in the umbrella.
ELTR - Eligiblity to return (on academic leave)

NOTE: Programs with less than five accepted students have been redacted by us, not UBC, as it could be a remote but possible privacy risk. For students interested in these programs that have redacted min/max averages, some notes:

For most CPSC umbrella courses that are redacted, you'll see that they all have space in the program for more students. This means the students rejected failed to meet the umbrella minimum.
For redacted MASC entries, the minimum hovers around 80-84. More to the 84 end.
For the niche programs, the demand and supply are both so small that no real trends can be drawn.
