Backstory:

There was a young girl adopted from a normal couple who's already elderly by the time of her adoption at the of 3, giving her a home which she will always cherish and be gladful for until their peaceful passing as age took them during their slumber a month apart from each other. Not much is known about Pops and Nan, but her older brother is willing to give her stories about the antics they had done in the past.

Early in her childhood she had grown a fondness of games. Physical games that make the heart race and limbs moving from side to side from her time with her adoptive parents from the young age of 3. Those memorable times gave her inspiration to play baseball. A sport that her brother was so kindly to give his own time to play pretend with it, giving her a plastic bat and rubber ball to get the same excitment she got from seeing him play at the field every now and then. Just the thrill and the adrenaline taking effect was an absolute gander to experience.

Fast forward into her elementary days she got what she wanted, a spot to play in the little league. It was a dream come true! She was an ace or so she thinks but let's not ruin the joy. Beth believed she'd be following her dream and brother's footstep before he decided to be benched, permanently, from playing another game. All of that came crumbling down when high school started for her. All the spots were filled up to the brim because of the others that had similar endeavors like her that it seemed she got on the wrong side of luck, fate, destiny or whatever the world has in store for her. However, there is an alternative.

The school offered her a spot as a cheerleader, not the usual kind, but as the team's mascot. It's not what she wanted but it's the only way she can get closer to the real deal, even if it means not playing at all. They did say she'll get in eventually in the coming school, still, the opportunity never came. The whole time she did cheering scene, she grew fond with it. Watching the players swinging their bats and encouraging the spectators to cheer on with her gave her the same thrill she wanted. A reminscent of the times when she was the little sister who cheered her brother on.

There her heart is still yearning for that dream even if it seemed to far from her reach, continuing on and on batting away at the rickity tire at the backyard.



Character Theme

Guardian: Alan or "B Bro". An elderly brother on the golden age of twenty-five taking charge of their household after the passing of their adoptive parents. This in turn make him give up the career he nurtured since he was a young boy just when he was given to join the big leagues.

Beth regretted that he had to give up the golden opportunity to the point that she cried to herself because of that thought. He had done his best to assure her he would have given up everything just to see her be raised up and have the time of her life like he had.

She's positive that he has his spark and signature swing that she can't be compared towards him.

Personality: Brash and loud but paved with good intentions. She has confidence at whatever she do, for the most part, is for the better good. If someone made a mistake she'd try to assert herself to give advice on what they should do, especially in a sport's game. She can't exactly tell in an event since mascots can't do that.

She can also reserved and observant at times when she catches herself going too far or someone else points out her attitude. Internally she'd get mad at someone make a stupid play at a ball game but keeps it to herself and continuing to cheer on.

Her peppy attitude is a great asset when it comes to persuading others through her words. She may not have the charm but she can do damn well using her energy instead.
