|Thank you for using this sheet! Please read these short instructions before editing to avoid confusion.|
The summary sheet ("Summary") is provided as a printable version of the Character Generation Worksheet ("Character"). Do NOT edit the summary page manually, this is autofilled from the worksheet.
To get started, just fill in the white background, bold bordered cells. These represent player choices.
Next, fill in any manual modifiers (such as those granted by exploits, equipment, GM fiat, etc.) in the remaining white background cells. Most of these are straight pool modifiers
Values in gray are autocalculated or constant, while values in blue are dice pools.
A lot of attribute modifiers have been automated using lookup tables in other sheets, so that as errata or new expansions are written, the tables can be easily updated. The tables and calculated values are "soft" locked, a warning will issue if you try to change it. The idea is to allow users to modify the sheet if needed, but prevent accidental deletions of formulas.

|Important player choices. These will determine a lot of autogenerated values. Make sure you fill all of these in.|
|Light cells are usually modifiers for dice pools or stats. Fill them in with equipment, exploit, or other "permanent" bonuses and penalties. Note that "Pool Exploits" are not affected by the grade maximum dice, but "Pool Mods" are.|
|Headers. These are purely informational.|
|Autocalculated values. Don't touch these unless you know what you're doing.|
|Important autocalculated value. This will be used during game play, but it's derived from your player choices.|
|Dice pools. You'll be using these during normal game play a lot.|
|Author Notes||All WOIN content, including but not limited to dice pool tables, careers, exploits, species, skills, item names and associated attributes are used under the Open Gaming License (OGL), a copy of which is below.|
|Exploits bonuses are manual. Exploits apply after the maximum dice pool (MDP), but in this sheet, dice pool mods are *before* the MDP check. I've tried to add Pool Exploit boxes in addition to Pool Mods, just be careful what plugs in where.|
Old Characters: You will need to hardcode your STR, AGI and END when you character reaches Old age. Just delete the formula and hard-code the value (NOT the dice pool)!
Skills: Skill choices are now auto-calculated. You still pick them manually (either typed in or from the dropdown), but you will know what you *should* have available.
MAG/PSI/CHI: Need to work out a way to select the magic system, or just support all three simultaneously.
