Welcome to the TABLE! or the Tri-state Area Band List (with Extensions)

This is created to be your one-stop, one-click away place for the local music scene based in New York City and the surrounding areas.

When I made this list back in 2019, it was made with the intention to organize all bands that I knew in this scene for my own purposes.

At the same time, I figured this would help benefit all other musicians as well. This would connect all the pockets of genres we have, uniting us all into one collective.

In turn, this would help all us artists network/collaborate with each other.

This (public) Google sheet would also help venues/promoters find other bands at a last minute's notice, in case word of mouth isn't fast enough!

This list will continue to grow throughout time, and maybe might include all bands that exist in the United States or something...?

I have a list of names in a book I keep so that I can keep updating if people don't approach me with anything.

This takes a LOT of my time besides my music career and hobbies, so I update whenever I honestly can.

With each new update, I've been adding not just artists and bands....

...but session/touring musicians, photographers and videographers, and later down the line, graphic designers, show promoters, and live sound engineers!

Eventually, this will be up on a website or part of one, and THAT will be the future one-stop area for everything local music scene on the East Coast.

Maybe I can add upcoming shows and venues to make it a true one stop place....

I'm also going to start working on a google sheet that lists ALL New York City and Tri-State area venues/bars/theaters that are playable. (Might integrate it here)

I hope that this will revolutionize our scene, so that we can learn to be more organized if we want to take this more seriously, and/or to make life easier.
