TimestampI understand the value of having mindful moments everyday. I benefit from our mindful moment practice. I want to continue our mindful moment practice next semester.I have used mindfulness outside of class. Do you have a specific example of how mindfulness has benefited you, or why you like it, or how it makes you feel? I'd love to hear!

12/13/2017 8:56:555554I have a small case of Tourette syndrome, and while not nearly as serious as most cases, I still suffer with anxiety more than normal. Because of this, many tasks used to be a herculean task to complete (for example, in my old school I always went to the bathroom for around half an hour in the middle of tests). However, with mindfulness, I managed to lower my everyday anxiety significantly, and employ it whenever I feel it rising again.

12/13/2017 13:46:394545Muscle relaxation really helps. Maybe let students guide it more often with sheets to help guide. We did it for SAjMUN and it really really helped the kids get rid of stress.

Being at school from 8 to 3 is really hard because it's such a long time,(especially since each block is 80 minutes long, usually with no breaks) to stay focused. Mindfulness helps me kind of recenter myself and refocus on the next class.
