This section is to help runners pick a milage goal.

The different goals for mileage are 150, 200, 250, & 300 miles for the 9 weeks of summer running. Please note that new runners and returning JV runners are more than welcome to shoot for the 300+ mileage option. After all, the more you run, the better prepared you will be for the season (be in better shape, have fewer injuries, ready to start faster paced workouts, etc).

150 Goal

If you are a brand new to running you should try your best to reach the 150+ miles.

To reach this goal you need to average 17 miles per week for the 9 weeks

200 -250 Goal

If you are a returning runner that ran mostly JV races shoot for 200-250+ miles.

To reach this goal you will need to average 23-28 miles per week for the 9 weeks

300 Goal

If you are a returning runner that ran mostly varsity races you should be shooting for the 300 miles.

To reach this goal you need to average 34 miles per week for the 9 weeks.
