7 | What will you do first when COVID lockdowns are lifted? | One of my best friends had a baby on February 20th, right before the pandemic began. The baby is getting so big and I haven't gotten to meet her in person yet (thank goodness for video calls, though)! The first thing I want to do is drive to her house, 2 hours away, and give her and that baby a hug! | Take a walk in Central Park | Travel to visit 6 mo grandson. | Hopefully go backpacking! Though realistically the first thing I'll do is start commuting again. | Have a party with friends -- in person! We are missing our backyard get-togethers. We've missed birthday, anniversary celebrations. Most of all, we miss just hanging out with our closest friends sharing stories, talking politics (if we can stand it), playing crazy board games that I've never heard of before, and of course, marvelous food. | I moved to Sacramento on the day CA went into lockdown, and when it lifts I am going to go mountain biking with old friends on my favorite Tahoe trails that are now a lot closer to me than they've been in the recent past! | I've been in Massachusetts for almost four months, six weeks of which have been spent in quarantine. I'm going to visit one of the many museums in the Greater Boston area followed by getting a coffee at a local cafe. Then find a nearby trail and explore nature outside of my backyard. | Do some travelling out of state and pop around at the local breweries and restaurants | Spend money on services and goods at several local small businesses that have been closed since this started, including big tips where relevant. | Travel to see family in DC and Denver. | Visit family in Wisconsin | Go on a hike where I'm not trying to stay 6' apart from friends | Go to the beach so I can swim in the ocean! | I hope to go hiking in Los Padres National Forest and visit Santa Barbara with friends! :) | Go out to the movies. | Go to San Francisco! | go camping | Travel to visit friends and family | Go to IKEA to replenish my Swedish Pancake hoard. I will probably spend a couple of hours there. I might come home with more than frozen pancakes. | Go out for dinner and a movie. | Visit my brother in Fort Worth. | Going out cycling to a wonderful place. My future plan is riding the Shetland Islands, but the possibility to reach the nearby mountain will give me the same pleasure. | Get outside a bit, away from all these old broken bones? | Plan a trip to somewhere and go out to eat/see a movie | Movie at the theatre | I will visit my family in Wisconsin. In December, if all goes right, I plan to hike in the Grand Canyon National Park. | Go out to West Texas and visit my mom and granny. | Go on a trip somewhere out of state. | Breakfast out | Visit my grandmothers and lots of outdoor rec time at local parks that have been closed. | Drive my 1974 Jensen Healey to Sisters, Oregon. | Have my daughter's belated 7th birthday party with SO MANY people at a beautiful park outside immediately followed by a big group run around town with all my running pals. | Go out to eat! Then plan a trip to visit my sisters in Austin, Texas and meet Juno, my new grand-niece. | Go to my favorite Indian restaurant (which will hopefully reopen when we come out of quarantine)! | Celebrate by having a party on Zoom, then go for a run! | The beach. | |||||||||||||||||||
