Overview:
2
I created this tool to speed up the leveling processes for Wild Shape or Polymorph stat blocks. Experience has shown that manually updating each Wild Shape form when leveling can be time consuming and hopefully this will speed up the process.
3
Editable fields will be blue, green, blue-orange, blue-purple, blue-red, or white-blue. The two-tone fields are to indicate that, while they are editable, they are normally another color (such as white) or that they are part of the calculations in a specific color of box (such as blue-red applies to the red attack line fields).
4
While this document is protected there is no password except for this page. Before unlocking the protections I suggest making a copy in case you break things.
5
I can be reached via the Paizo message boards. If you find any errors or have suggestions feel free to send them to me. http://paizo.com/people/Gauss

Pages:
9
Overview: contains instructions on how to use.
10
Character Data: a page to store information from your normal character sheet (not included).
11
Polymorph Sheets: a page where the polymorph stat blocks are generated and, if desired, printed. There are four statblocks per printed page. Features include options for using either Strength or Dexterity to calculate certain statistics and the automatic application of the effects of the polymorph size and spell to your ability scores and skills.
12
Tables: a page where I have placed the various tables. This should not be edited because that will probably break things.
13
Polymorph Backup Copy: a page where I have placed a copy of the Polymorph Sheets page in case the other page becomes broken (typically via editing the wrong thing). To use copy the entire section via the rows and paste them in the rows that are broken (see how to add new Polymorph sheet statblocks in the FAQ section).
14
15
Instructions: (Note that fields will also have dialog boxes to explain what the field is and what information should go into it.)
16
17
1) Go to the Character Data page and fill out all of the blue boxes (including the drop down menus such as your current size).
18
In the weapon list section list any weapons you possess including the attack and damage bonuses for enhancements, feats, and miscellaneous abilities. Other bonuses such as Ability score modifiers, Size, and BAB should not be included as they are calculated elsewhere. This is also where you list natural weapons if those weapons have bonuses. If you have weapons which do not have attack or damage bonuses they do not need to be listed.
19
20
2) Go to the Polymorph Sheets page and fill out all of the blue and white-blue boxes. You may leave boxes blank if they are not used (such as fly speed).
21
When using the Size/Type fields an improper combination will produce an N/A result. Please select a proper combination or leave the type as "None". Example: There are no Colossal applications of Beast Shape so you will get an N/A result.
22
23
3) Still on the Polymorph Sheets page, fill out the blue-red boxes to the right of the polymorph stat block (a detailed explanation is below). So you can see how it will look a copy of the attack line will appear below the blue-red boxes. This is only a copy and not meant for printing.
24
Select the number of attacks that type of attack has or, for manufactured weapons, you can select "iterative" and it will autocalculate the attack sequence.
25
Then select the type of ability score (Str or Dex) used to perform the attack and the type of ability score (Str or Dex) and multiplier for the damage.
26
Select the number and size of dice, Critical Threat range and multiplier, and (via the dropdown) the weapon specific specific modifiers from the Character Data page.
27
Finally, in the Special Ability box, you can add extra properties such as "+trip" or "+1d6 fire".
28
29
4) Fill out any special notes you want to include in the green box. You can also fill out the blank box (to the right of the green field) with anything you desire.
30
31
5) Fill out as many Polymorph stat blocks as desired and then print.
32
Note: only the Polymorph statblock is meant to be printed, not the blue-orange or blue-red sections.
33
Note2: The Polymorph Sheets page is designed to be printed in Portrait mode with margins set to 0.5" Top/Bottom and 0.25" Left/Right. That will print four statblocks per page.
34
35
Leveling:
36
1) When you level go to the Character Data page and update the entries. All of your Polymorph forms will update automatically.
37
2) If you acquired new forms you will need to input them normally using steps 2-5 above.

FAQ:
40
Q: How do I use this for non-polymorph size changing spells such as Enlarge Person?
41
A: Set the the size to the appropriate size and the Type to "None". Edit the Optional Modifiers section with the appropriate bonuses and penalties.
42
Note: Non-polymorph effects such as Enlarge Person will produce incorrect results if the character's base size is not Small or Medium (as set on the Character Data page). If this is the case set your size to Medium and note the adjustments to your skills to account for the size difference between your normal size and medium.
43
44
Q: Why didn't you include (insert skill, ability, whatever)?
45
A: This is not intended to be a complete character sheet. I cannot think of all possibilities and due to space limitations I did not try to include everything. However, I will state that I did leave off three Dexterity based skills since I felt they could be easily calculated and are not *usually* used in combat when polymorphed. These are Disable Device, Ride, and Sleight of Hand. If you feel you want one of them included you can always write it in the blank box I have left for that purpose.
46
47
Q: How do I add the +8 to the Climb or Swim skill when I have a climb or swim speed?
48
A: These are automatically added when you enter a Climb or Swim speed.
49
50
Q: How do I add the maneuverability modifiers to my Fly skill and the size modifiers to my Fly or Stealth skills?
51
A: The size modifiers are automatically added and the manuverability modifiers are automatically added when you select a manuverability mode in the Fly speed section.
52
53
Q: Why do you have a Strength or Dexterity option for Climb and Swim skills?
54
A: As per the Paizo FAQ, Tiny creatures may use Dexterity for Climb and Swim skills.
55
56
Q: My initial size is something other than small or medium. Do I put in my adjusted ability scores on the Character Data sheet?
57
A: No, by entering your initial size all of that is automatically calculated. Additionally, skills with size modifiers have those removed and the new size's modifiers are applied. Example: A small character becoming a large creature loses his +4 stealth bonus from size and then the new -4 stealth penalty from the large size is added in.
58
59
Q: The RAW does not specifically state that when you have a 16 strength and you get +2 size bonus to strength that your two-handed weapon's strength damage bonus goes from +3*1.5 =4 to +4*1.5=6. It should be 3*1.5+1=5. What gives?
60
A: I created this based on the concept that polymorph alterations to Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution affected the appropriate stats as if added directly to the base score. There is debate about the RAW regarding that but this was created for my purposes and if you do not like that I am sorry but this tool is not for you. :)
61
62
Q: I am new to Excel, what are the red little marks in the top right corners of the cells (boxes)?
63
A: These indicate a comment. Hover over the cell (box) and an information bubble will appear.
64
65
Q: I want to add new Polymorph sheet statblocks, how do I do that?
66
A: Go to the Polymorph sheets, select the "Home" tab (top left corner), then near the top-right hand side click "Format" followed by "Unprotect Sheet".
67
Next, highlight the rows from row 1 to row 97. Right click and then select copy. Go to the row immediately below the last row of the last sheet then right click and select paste.
68
Afterwards follow the first step and click "Protect Sheet". Then click "ok" on the popup window (you do not need to enter a password).
