Hello and welcome! ¡Hola y bienvenidos! This space is designed for music therapists and interns to have access to Spanish resources that are useful in the hospice music therapy setting. This is a live document and will continue to grow and evolve. Please contact me at kathleenmontes09@gmail.com with suggestions for new translations to add to the list.

Each list is currently organized by type and separated into different spreadsheets. Click on the tabs below to browse through the lists. Current lists are divided into: questions, possible patient responses, phrases, family relations, words, and music therapy terminology.

Most questions are intentionally yes/no questions to avoid prompting a detailed response in Spanish that the music therapist or intern may not understand. The possible responses were compiled from responses I received during visits. The music therapy terminology list can assist with describing what music therapy is used for in Spanish.
