• This tool is intended to organize data and assist permittees with the AIM process but does not automatically determine Level Progression. The permittee is responsible for making all determinations

of Level Progression and must manually enter this information in the tool. See Permit Part I.J.3

• This is not a reporting tool. You must report monitoring results using NetDMR. If you are in Level 3 during a reporting year you must report that in the 4th quarter DMR.

• Enter information into colored cells only.

• For first use, enter information in order of numbered buttons 1-7. Click on buttons for instructions. Refer to the AIM Diagram tab for additional reference.

• Start at baseline and enter a quarterly monitoring result. Use the LevelProgression tab to help you determine whether you move up a Level or return to Baseline.

• The tool does not account for Natural Background exceptions. This determination must be made independently.
A result in red means the concentration is higher than the baseline. If this occurs from baseline status then you are in Level 1 and a response is required.
