I am back in the saddle. Felt good after the WOD today and so burned off some energy by running two miles at the MHS track. Boom. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things.

Ran 12 mins, walked 2, ran another 10. Not bad. July 6 - 25 minutesSS Dr: Thomas St. -> DeVos house, 1 mile + 1 mile. Ran the whole time! Perfect conditions, 70 and breezy. A major achievement, hurrah!July 9 - 30 minutesSS Dr: Thomas St. past DeVos house. Estimate 2.2 miles. 65 degrees and overcast. Perfect! Still super slow. Would like to pick up the pace. July 11 - 25 minutes.Same route, 2 miles, slow and achy. Got a major cramp and walked the last 5 minutes. Dehydrated, perhaps?July 13 - 20 minutes exactly.Faster pace, good breeze, same cramp in the same place. Next 6 runs will be longer, I hope!July 15 - 30 minutesThomas St -> Sybesma's, 2.6 miles roundtrip. Slower pace + polar vortex = no cramps!July 17 - 20 minutesSame route but shorter. Limited time! Seems to be diffcult to run first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. July 21 - 25 minutesTraction line to Convent Station and back. So easy! Noticeable improvement after 2 weeks of jogging in MI. July 28 - 20 minutesRoundabout -> Gallo factory and most of the way back. Ran 2.2 miles, walked the rest after 20 mins. Flat and sandy path = easier on the knees. Not bad after a long break.July 30 - 30 minutesRoundabout -> Gallo factory -> bridge. Cool in the shade, blisteringly hot sun. Took odd turns and shortcuts to stay in the pathetic shade. Need to get out earlier in the morning to avoid the heat.August 1 - 23 minutesSame route. Last run of the challenge, but I plan to continue this routine! Maybe one day I´ll be able to get up to long distances!

Liz D16:407/2 20 minsI never just jog so pacing myself for 20 mins is a challenge...was beat by 20 minute mark. goal to run more than 20 mins (and to be faster, better, stronger) ;)7/7 24 mins2+ miles. was sick for a few days last week so am a bit behind. first exercise since getting better...not bad7/10 20 minsPatriot's path. felt awesome. would have gone longer if had more time. still slow. 7/11- 25 mins another patriots path right after weight vest work out...should never run mid afternooon in the summer. not super smart. July 16th 20ish minutesran 1 mile, weight vest work out up stairs, and ran another mile...so I'm counting it. was surprisingly easy but my legs were killing me afterwards! 6/18 20 minsnice and easy. surprised how easy 20 mins is now...need to start going longer7/20 25 minstreadmill..went hard. very satisfying7/26- 20 + mins2 miles on track. pretty good. just realized i have to do 4 runs next week to catch up :(7/30- 20 minstreadmill, 2 miles7/31 20 minstrack, 2 miles ish.. wanted to go longer but started kind of late and the sun was too high. need to plan runs better
