| QV | Develop an app that deploys a QV strategy. Must be substantially different from joke dao | Meg | DAO Grants + Investment
| prop house | Develop an app that implements prop house but on Allo protocol | Owocki | DAO Grants + Investment | Where are the rewards coming from? ML -- this came from a specific project funded by google so I'm assuming it would be bootstrapped by Google (or similar entity) to start, could transition to an ad-supported model in the future
| run the gitcoin budgeting process off of allo | if allo is the ultimate capital allocation tool, why doesnt gitcoin user it for its own budgeting. perfrom an analysis of what would have to be true to use allo protocol to run giticoin's internal budgeting process + then implement a MVP of that | owocki | DAO Grants + Investment
| 0xsplits aqueduct | build a 0xsplits aqueduct into allo protocol | owocki | Funding integrations
| radicle drips aqueduct | build a radicle drips aqueduct into allo protocol | owocki | Funding integrations
| build a fiat payment mechanism into allo protocol / grants stack | figure out how to abstract any of the blockchain stuff away from the end user accept credit cards via stripe or similar + then do payouts in fiat. without changing the core architecture of allo. | owocki | Funding integrations
| Grants Stack QA product (lol) | A UI that easily spins up programs, rounds, applicaitons, and donations so that the Grants Stack team can easily QA in our app This would be a separate front end but use the same subgraph/indexer Bonus points if we can use AA or something so that we can pay gas for all tx out of a single wallet that stays stocked with goerli/sepolia eth | Meg | Grants management support
| Grants Liquidity Dashboard | Transparency and performance reporting for all grants programs running on Allo. How do we evaluate grants programs? See velocity and distribution of money etc Same on projects / donors | Meg | Grants management support
| KYC Tool for Allo Grants Stack | For customers that have compliance obligations before paying out a round... help them make sure (OFAC/KYC/AML) obligations are all taken care of in the payout process. | owocki | Grants management support
| analytics/airdrop tool | build a tool to select ppl in certain crtiera (contributed to gitcoin at x date to y project,, etc) and offer them airdrops. https://twitter.com/owocki/status/1652361890360889344 | owocki | Grants management support
| Kickstarter for community projects | Another local communities idea. A simple webapp with a QF pool created that can be funded. People can create projects they want to do in the local community, for example create a community garden, an outdoor gym, fix the road. The community can vote and support for these projects that will receive allocation of funding to implement these projects. Each project could have a blog with status updates for the community to follow progress. | Carl | Local communities
| Hackathon bounties + QF Honey game | A simple webapp to create a pool of initiatives in local communities. These could be tree-trimming, snow-shoveling, clean-up the environment, other smaller tasks that keep the community thriving. People in these communities can do these tasks, register it as done with before-after photos and receive allocation based on votes. Completed tasks could be shown in a feed and people simply like to vote. Tasks could be explored from a map. | Carl | Local communities
| Shared Community Garden | Each season a pool is created and the community submits what they want to grow (carrots, potatoes, brocolli etc). People can donate to the suggested vegetables as a way of both voting and buying. Pool and donations are used to buy seeds and grow the plants. After harvest the produce is allocated to the donors. | Carl | Local communities
| Quadratic Lands | https://hackmd.io/OiObSLvZRdyVlDCA1jMjKw | Carl | Local communities
| build conviction voting allo mechanism into grants stack | build a conviction voting allocation mechanism into allo https://gov.gitcoin.co/t/dear-moonshot-collective-help-daos-level-up-gov-tooling-buidl-request-for-chain-agnostic-conviction-voting/10027 | owocki | new mechanisms
| build any of the mechanisms listed here into allo | http://supermodular.xyz/coordination-mechanisms | owocki | New mechanisms
| build dominance assurance contracts into grants stack | build a dominance assurance contract allocation mechanism into allo https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assurance_contract#Dominant_assurance_contracts | owocki | New mechanisms
| Strategy rewarding supporters | A strategy that rewards a percentage from the matching pool to the top x donors (total donations across projects). This could create incentives to participate as well as use one address to vote with (some kind of sybil discouragement). | Carl | New mechanisms
| QV | we are interested in building out tooling for a QV round. why do this? QF is a great coordination mechanism for allocating capital with the wisdom of the crowds... and for communities where there is a lot of wisdom in the crowds, it is a good mechanism. but in other contexts, we need to rely on experts for our capital allocation. less decentralized than QF, but still decentralizing away from one central grant comittee or operator. this would involve forking gitcoins QF grants stack and adding in another round type (QV).. perhaps adding a different voting strategy/payout strategy. specs: i can go to round-manager.gitcoin.co and create a QV round. instead of QF parameters, i input QV parameters - the number of voters and how many vote credits they each get. create the round as per how it works already when i manage the round any QF parameters are taken out of the round manager, and QV parameters are shown on the round settings contributing to the round only people who have a secret voter link can vote in the round they can allocate their voter credits at that link + commit them during the round time window after the round round manager can payout the round just like existing QF round. maybe you can sequence this alongside the current passport work? eg if you get blocked on one, switch to the other + visa versa. | owocki | New mechanisms
| build UBI onto Grants Stack | a tool that will allow people to apply to a UBI round. in the UBI round, anyone whos accepted will have to pass an anti-sybil check. and they'll all be streamed tokens | owocki | Novel use cases
| New Reddit | UI with streaming rewards towards highest upvoted content per epoch This is a version of QF where upvotes by those with high upvote counts, count more | Meg | Novel use cases
| Analyst Dashboard Aggregation | A specific use case for the above: Data is free and easily accessible in Web3 (yay) BUT dashboards are weirdly silo'd and analytics as a public good is not fairly compensated Create a UI where any analyst can stake 5 GTC to submit their work Dashboards that are upvoted receive rewards through some version of QF (kinda like Owockis quadratic lenster thing) | Meg | Novel use cases
| Artful QF | A webapp for art galleries. Enter gallery, scan QR and receive x votes. Each art piece has a QR code, scan QR to vote. Artworks are allocated quadratically based on votes and the matching pool. | Carl | Novel use cases
| Allo2Events | Use Allo2 as a ticketing platform with a custom strategy. Each allocation is a purchase of a ticket as well as a vote for a specific artist. Additionally, bonding curves could be implemented for a dynamic early-bird mechanism. | Carl | Novel use cases
| Pokemon Eco | Create an app or game with incentives to clean up plastic from the environment. Either as a group activity such as a beach cleanup or individual bounty-style. Could take inspiration from Pokemon Go. | Novel use cases
| Profile "Teleporter" | A UI that lets you fetch your profile data from one chain and create the same profile with the same anchor, members, etc.. on another chain. This can be done fully off chain on frontend. That's something we will need at some point and it's maybe a good beginner one. | Kurt | Profiles + reputation
| build a hypercert based registry into allo protocol | fork the main gitcoin registry and make one thats source of data is hypercerts. then we can run QF rounds on top of hypercerts (like with zuzalu) | owocki | Profiles + reputation
| Address a real-world Problem | Develop a decentralized and community-driven platform using Allo that addresses a real-world problem. Example: Design a platform that allows residents to submit proposals for projects that benefit the local community, and enable quadratic voting to determine the most favored initiatives. | Kurt
| Out of the Box | Be creative, think out of the box and build a dApp using Allo protocol for an unexpected use case. // It could be interesting to see the ideas that people come up with | Kurt
| Wall of love | heres what im thinking... pre-read: https://gov.gitcoin.co/t/knowledge-transfer-gitcoin-grants-wall-of-love/11569 what: i want to revive the wall of love. this is a straight up grants stack fork build (think) build spec: fork grants stack add in the ability to add a comment to every grant you checkout with, and prefill it with “💪 keep up the great work” “😍 love the mission of your project” “🙌 Great Job” “👍 i appreciate you” Custom messages you input. on each grants page, show the wall of love ("the leaderboard of the comments that have been received, in descending order") (for v2, if someone inputs something profane on wall of love, the grant owner can remove it) this feels like a pretty easy surgical change to grants stack to me. could you take it on? i know u have tepidness about taking on work that touches gitcoin too much... but i think if we showed up with a PR for this theyd have to take it seriously. and i could get it through as a feature-flag (eg when i create a new QF round, i can enable it or disable it) on grants stack. | owocki
| a tool that allows me to communicate with my gitcoin donors | whether via email/xmtp or similar | owocki
| build a crowdfunding acqueduct | similar to https://crowdfund-matchingpool.vercel.app/pool/0x74ad514636f1386f374e1107435f35d393d0b279 but built on allo v2 | owocki
