Turf field pick up futsal Drop in, pick up teamsAthens High School Turf FieldSunday 1:00 to 3:00[January 10th?]10 to 50ACS membership plus $10 per player for winter equipment set up fee. Pick up futsal for all ages and backgrounds of players. We split the turf field into two to four futsal sized courts. Play depends on weather conditions, but the only condition that really is prohibitive is rain below 38 degrees, or heavy snow. Because we can set up as many as 4 courts on the turf field we are generally able to include all players at the same time. Whenever possible we work to create balanced teams. To maximize the quality of playing experience for all players.

Mentored five a side futsal Drop in, pick up teamsAthens High School Turf FieldSunday 2:00 to 4:00[January 10th?]10 to 50ACS membership plus $10 per player for winter equipment set up fee. Skilled adult and senior level high school players play in team leader roles on the field in 5 a side teams of middle and high school age players. Skilled grade school age players are welcome as well. Mentored 5 a side teams extend principles of in-game instruction that take place informally in family futsal. The goal is to raise the level of play of all players by making sure all teams have advanced players who are working to help younger and less experienced players to improve.

Saturday youth latenight will include two sets of 4 teams which split the available time into two 80 min sessions. The later session was composed mostly of high school age, and the earlier session by slightly yonger players. The 4 teams from each session play each opponent twice in a series of 6 ~13 min matches. Our goal is to accomodate a range of ages and ability levels in two sets of mixed teams. Due to numerous players who were turned away from paritcipation in Nov/Dec we have expanded winter offering into two different nights and expanded hours on Saturday night.
