April 30th, 2025 via mailSenior - Class of 2025Workforce Development Regional Scholarshipminimum of 8 scholarships, each up to $1,000There will be a minimum of eight (8) scholarships, each up to $1,000, awarded to high school students who will be attending a community college or technical school, one in each of NCHBA’s eight regions. Applicants must be seeking a career in a skilled trade directly related to residential construction. Scholarships will be considered on the recommendation of a school advisor/teacher and on their future plans in the construction industry as determined by the answers on the scholarship application. First preference will go to students attending a community college or technical school in North Carolina. Universities or Four-year Colleges do not meet this criteria.

Note: undocumented applicants are eligible.

You will be starting college (four year, community college, or trade school) for the first time in the 2026-2027 academic year (not including dual-enrollment courses). This applies to high school juniors, high school seniors planning to take a gap year, or students receiving a GED and planning to begin college for the first time in the 2026-2027 academic year.

August 4, 2025Senior - Class of 2025ETSU SigEp Balanced Man ScholarshipETSU"SigEp" will award one $1000 scholarship and three $500 scholarships to first-year students who are enrolled for the Fall 2025 SemesterAs a partner in education with ETSU, the Tennessee Gamma chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity annually awards scholarships to students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to personal and intellectual development.
