AdviceBuiding Bar
- Using forestall (gain bar when first striking enemies) + trafuri is a safe and fast way to build bar
- overworld mitamas only need 4x forestall, partner spots need 5
- with all of the bar building miracles, guard x3 + rush is faster but more risky

- There is RNG involved in answering the questions, some choices are more likely to go in your favor (figuring out which options are optimal is a nightmare, the notes show my best guesses).
- Always give demons what they want on normal mode

overworld enemies
- hitting enemies before they notice you means you always go first
- after extiting a battle/cutscene there is about 5 seconds before they can notice you, hitting them during this will always count as a first strike
- after attempting to attack you and missing, enemies will dissapear and respawn. This can be used to get by large enemies blocking narrow pathways and to reset mitamas that notice you

menu scrolling
- pressing right and left on the d-pad scrolls the menu faster. In battle it jumps by 3, in leyline/World of Shadows it jumps to the start/end of the list

DLC - Installed DLC adds some extra cutscenes that waste a small amount of time, follow this guide to remove DLC

Mitamas - These have random weakness, take much higher bonus damage from their weakness, and null everything else. Use spyglasses

talking to a demon that is in your stock will end an encouter and proc grimores/gospels

You can move faster on the Tokyo map by holding the control stick and the D-pad in the same direction

battle text boxes (guarding, magatsuhi skills, buffs etc) can be sped up by pressing A

using auto on your last press turn speeds up the enemy turn significantly

rearanging party in world of shadows is faster if you are already there for something else
