How To Use This Spreadsheet
3
4
5
6
*Save a copy of this spreadsheet in your own Google Drive (File>>Make a copy) or download for offline use (File>>Download as>>Microsoft Excel)
7
*Most importantly: Do not alter or delete the "total" cells anywhere in the spreadsheet, they are all linked to automatically calculate information. Some cells are locked because they hold formulas—only override the lock if you understand what that formulas was doing and can update it accordingly.
8
*The "Thailand" sheet is an example of filling out the information.
9
10
1Right click on "Thailand" tab along the bottom and replace with your country's name.
11
2Type country name at top of spreadsheet. (Notice that name is now on your Final Stats tab!)
12
3Type the currnet exchange rate for your country into cell B4.
13
4Fill in the number of days you were in the country for that month into cell C4. (Perhaps you were only there for 5 days out of the month? Or possibly 31?)
14
5Add dates for the month and days that you will be in the country.
15
6Put full local currency rates into the spreadsheet next to the corresponding date for that month.
16
7Fill in any notes.
17
8Do not alter *any* of the country names or totals boxes on the "Final Stats" tab—they automatically change as you add information to the other sheets
18
9Have fun on the trip and don't sweat it if you miss recording a few days—that's not what you're there for!
19
10Please use this as needed to track your trip, and tweak and adjust as needed to fit your siutation and your unique travels—if you post this anywhere, good karma will come your way if you include a quick link to my site: alittleadrift.com
