16	It's better than reading a stupid story that nobody wants to read and write 500 word essays	Next time, students should log in what they do every week just so they keep track of what they finished and still need to work on, creating a less amount of bewilderment

18	I got to choose what I wanted to learn about, how I was going to show it, and what I was going to talk about	I could have managed my time better
19	Choosing what we want to do and learn more about is pretty great, and it makes the kids feel like they have control over what they are learning and want to learn. Students tend not to pay attention when they are doing something they do not enjoy, so this was a good idea. If they are paying attention and are engaged in what they are doing, they will learn more.	A lot of people goofed around more than usual
20	I feel like I learned way more than I would have learned with just a regular lesson taught by the teacher, just because I got to choose something that I genuinely wanted to learn more about and learn how to do and if it would've been chosen by the teacher, chance are I wouldn't really be interested in learning about it and after learning about whatever it may be, I would probably forget about it in the next week or so just because I wasn't interested in it to begin with	I'm not responsible enough to handle my own learning because I want to slack off
21	New Learning	I needed shorter deadlnes so I could complete my work instead of waiting until the last minute

23	It gives us a chance to understand what we are learning in a way we can understand	With all honesty, I played around quite a bit, so we'll definitely fix that next time

30	It was wonderful because it shows students that no matter what they might think or say, there's something out there for them to discover, and that everyone loves to learn.	I would not goof around a lot. Maybe every once in a while but not everyday.

32	Authentic Learning	Kids have never been trusted for something like this before, so they feel like they can do whatever they feel like doing. A large majority of kids take advantage of this "no due date" and mess around

38	This process greater fit my educational goal than the "old school" way would have. I improved on things that I knew that I needed to do and things that I found to be important to my life. Things that the educational system wants me to learn will not always help with what I want to do with my life.	More people could do the same stuff so it could be a group project so we could create something together
39	Taking control over your education is difficult and requires an immense amount of responsibility and focus	We should have small group swho are interested in the same topic so we could bounce ideas off of each other and look at the topic in a broader manner and think of things they didn't even think aout when they first researched their topic.

41	It provided me with things that would most likely not be touched on in school. I am able to learn things that I would usually not be able to and have a choice in what way my life will be.	We don't like to work when an adult or some sort of teacher doesn't give us an assignment

44	Now that I know how to do this type of learning, it wouldn't be as challenging next time	I only stayed in my comfot zone, so I didn't learn much. If i did it again, I would do something that is harder so I could learn from it
45	It taught me responsibility- it not only affected our grade for English but also for other classes. I had to make sure I was keeping up with my other classes and finishing all my assignments.	Sometimes it was frustrating
46	Just like in business, there were ups and downs and owning a business can be a lot of work	It was stressful because i had no clue where to start or what to do after that
47	We learned how to manage our time	I work better if i am given an assignment to complete. It's a lot easier for me and I don't feel the stress of finding something that I can talk about and not get bored really fast with.

49	PL is a good term for this because that is really what it is. Some people might have the misconception that personalized learning means going all tech and screens, and kids off in their own little antisocial bubble. I'd say only about 50% was spent on a sreen, and it certainly wasn't antisocial	Some of my challenges relates to my OCD nad my "follow the rules" problem. I would start freaking out because I did not have a clue what to do next and this is due to the fact that I am used to receiving instructions from my teachers.
50	I eventually figured out how to do it with the help of my friends	I was stressed, annoyed, and confused a lot
51	I liked seeing what the other kids chose to work on.	It was hard to figure out my next step. Having a lesson already planned out by your teacher is way easier than planning out the lesson yourself and doing the actual work
52	Pacing	I would rather have someone give me work and tell me what to do rather than have myself choose. I know that sounds bad especially if I want to be a manager or CEO of my own company one day.
53	Kids can learn about a skill that they are interested in and kids learn what it feel slike to be working for themselves at their own pace rather than rush or panic in their work and mess up	Interests
54	If I don't understand the material, it will take me more time to do it and actually understnad what i'm doing, but with personalized learning, i didn't have to worry about being confused or being rushed.	I got bored with my subject
55	I got to learn things I wouldn't have been taught properly because sometimes teachers only teach you something for a week and then move on	It was hard to find a topic that I was actually interested in and stick with it
56	I didn't have any problems getting to work or finding things to do when I was doing this project	I want to have more time to really think about what I want to learn about before I start saying what I want to do
