Ruby Crystal/ Long Sword/ Cloth Armor/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Cloth Armor > Executioner's Calling > Phage > Stridebreaker > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental HexplateSkill matchupGenerally before level 6 he can play out the lane rather decently. You don't have any dashes so he should guarantee his full combo if he hits his W on you. At 6 both of you can trade ults with eachother. This is a trade you are fine with, as his ult has 20 seconds extra over yours, and since you cast it first you get about a 22-23 second window where he has no ult but you do. Once you get to Stridebreaker you can really hard chase him down, and at Plated Steelcaps he cannot escape you unless he dashes over a wall. You start to really lay the hurt on him and demolish him in the 1v1, he just cannot kite out your ult reliably anymore. Experimental Hexplate also ensures you have enough speed to straight up ult him when hitting a max range Q.

AhriQ > E > W
Precision: Conqueror, Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, Last Stand

Small shards: adaptive force, movement speed, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Ionian Boots of Lucidity > Experimental Hexplate Hard matchupVery annoying matchup. She will permanently try to poke you down throughout the lane. When you go to last hit minions try to have your E up as much as possible to reduce any possible damage taken. Her wave clear isn't as good as yours early on so you can look for a cheater recall on the 3rd wave so you are able to safely play that part of the lane. You can basically never ult her as she will always use one of her dashes and escape you. What you actually want to do is just perma clear the wave and look to invade the enemy jungle, possibly take voidgrubs, or get something else on the map. At Ravenous Hydra you can instantly explode a wave and move to fights quickly, and if she tries to stop you she will lose her wave under the tower, and you shouldn't even die to her because a single hydra active in the middle of the wave can heal you 400-500 health instantly.

AkaliQ > E > W

Resolve: Second Wind, Revitalize
Small shards: adaptive force, scaling health, scaling health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long SwordDoran's Shield > Vampiric Scepter > Hexdrinker > Maw of Malmortius > Ravenous Hydra Extremely hard matchupHorrible matchup. If you use ult she can use shroud and just wait it out. You have to deny her the first 3 minions worth of xp on the first wave. Walk past the wave and if she tries to get the xp you can beat her down, forcing her to lose half her health or so. You have to get to the point where you just straight up ignore her. You fullcear the wave with Ravenous Hydra and move to try and get something else around the map, leaving her stuck under turret. Her burst is also massive, so having an early Hexdrinker can help out a lot. Most of the time you will be better than her in teamfights, but it's basically impossible to get a lead on her in lane by killing her, it's mostly just by having higher cs and map tempo.

Small shards: adaptive force, movement speed, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Ruby Crystal/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Cloth Armor > Phage > Stridebreaker > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental HexplateSkill matchupYou don't want to leash level 1. Typically you want to get to the middle brush and fight him for wave control. You out 1v1 him hard level 1 if you don't leash, as you can start chaining axes, forcing him to burn flash or die. It can be hard to chase him down because of his E, but if he ever swings into your melee range you can beat him down hard, even if you are as low as 20% health. Your W shield combined with high damage can ensure you come out on top and catch him off guard. Once you get Plated Steelcaps and Stridebreaker he is always forced to use his E to distance himself from you or he dies on the spot. Before going for a fight with him always wait out his swing and then go for the fight.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Maw of Malmortius > Experimental Hexplate Extremely hard matchupShe has very bad wave clear pre 6, so try to abuse that window as much as possible. You won't get in range to kill her, and she will hard poke you even before 6, but you can push out waves quickly. Ideally you are looking to get off a cheater recall on the 3rd/ 4th wave. Her wall destroys you. It can ensure you never get in range to kill anyone is used properly, it is the ability that makes the matchup absolutely hell. If she uses it wrong, then you can turn and kill her instantly. Your best bet is to just get to Ravenous Hydra as soon as possible, perma clear waves and then look to get stuff around the map. In teamfights the wall once again provides a very good peel tool for herself and her team. If you don't wait her to use it then you can get anihilated. Split pushing is no better either, as she can just throw her ult on the wave and never allow you to hit the turret.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra/Stridebreaker vs Ghost > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Easy matchupOne of the easiest Matchups for Olaf. Her entire gimmick is that she has a permanent slow and can kite well, but you are immune to it in your ultimate, so you just bypass her entire kit.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Skill MatchupIt's not a bad matchup, the thing is that he can always use his w to fly away when you use your ultimate since you have no hard cc to stop it. If you force it out first then he's easy pickings.

AzirQ > E > W
Precision: Conqueror, Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, Last Stand

Small shards: adaptive force, movement speed, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Maw of Malmortius > Experimental Hexplate Hard matchupYou cannot get pushed back by his ult if your ult is active. That being said, he has his E dash to distance himself from you. Good Azir players will not wait for you to get into melee range so they will use E before you get close to them. Your best bet is to perma clear the waves and look to take stuff around the map. If you sit on lane he will giga poke you constantly and make it very hard to farm without losing a ton of health.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Easy MatchupIf he roams just take all his plates and turret. The only thing he can do vs you is ult himself or his team. Doing that means your ult will run out by the time they are out of the stasis, but that's literally it, nothing else he can do.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Easy MatchupYou out 1v1 her early on pretty well. In the hyper late game she has a low cooldown on her dashes and can kite out your ult, but that only happens super late. Before that it's very hard for her to fight you.

Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Sundered SkySkill MatchupShe's going to look for very short trades into you, usually when she has her passive up. You can generally bully her in lane decently well, but it can be hard to get kills on her due to her E. She can hold onto it and use it to escape rather easily. You have no hard cc so the only way you can stop that is by being in her melee range and blocking her hookshot. Her gank setup is quite good as well, but most of the time you are actually fine with ganks. Olaf can turn ganks rather well. Sometimes it can give them more confidence if the jungler comes to gank, only for you to turn it and get a double kill. Later on is when the issues start to happen. First off, he ultimate. It can easily block you access to the backline, forcing you to instantly hit her so she steps out of her own ult and lets you go to who your priority target actually is. And then there's her short trading. Early on it's not bad. Once you get Ravenous Hydra you win them very hard, even at Vampiric Scepter you can heal off a ton of the damage she deals. But once she gets to around 2 items, you cannot shrug off her Q2 damage. She will start to deal a ton of damage, and if she just hookshots away after using Q2 on you, you will never catch up to her. This is where Sundered Sky makes it a lot better for you. If you have that, you can actually almost always go even in trades, or even win some of them. You really need Sundered Sky second here. Late game, she outscales you pretty hard. She's very mobile and deals a ton of damage. You can play the role of a peeler, defending your backline, sitting back until she jumps, and then you go with everything on her.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Hexdrinker > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Maw of Malmortius > Experimental HexplateSkill matchupNot as horrible of a matchup as you'd expect. After level 6 you can pop your ultimate and straight up kill her, even if she lands her Q every time and spams her E, you just hard statcheck her in melee. The issue is if she has Phase Rush. If she does, you actually need to force her to proc it before an all in, or else you risk dying because she will outrun your ult. Once she gets Zhonya's Hourglass it becomes quite hard, but she won't take it until 3rd item at the earliest most of the time, so you have a very good window to abuse her. It's also worth noting that her W does not stop you from casting your E. Even though in Olaf's E animation he jumps it is not an ability that is considered a jump, so the grounding does not affect it.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Phage > Stridebreaker > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate > Sterak's GageSkill matchupOne of my favourite matchups to play from the side of Olaf. It's very skill expressive on both sides. Olaf has the upper hand early on, but Darius generally beats him more later on. Levels 1-5 can go either way. It all comes down to which player spaces better and abuses their all in ranges more. From level 6 there is a shift in power towards Olaf. Whenever you pop your ultimate to go for him, he has 2 choices. Either Darius burns Flash/Ghost to get away, or he dies. If you fought earlier on and he has no Ghost up you can most likely hard run him down from full health. He cannot E you and he cannot get a Q heal or bleed stack. As long as your ultimate is on you should be able to win it. That being said, the later the game goes the worse it gets for Olaf. For one, if Darius managed to stack up his passive to 5 and drops his ultimate on you, you can actually lose it. You need to abuse the fact that it takes him longer to fully stack his passive and that his E has no effect on you. Usually Darius will go Dead Man's Plate as his second item. By that point he can kite you well, which is why you need Stridebreaker and Experimental Hexplate. This way you can actually keep up with him and not let your ultimate fall off, even though not having Ravenous Hydra overall lowers your 1v1 power. Sterak's Gage as a third item is also a very good option. Darius just has to stack up and then drop his ultimate, and he can win without needing his Q or E, so having a mega shield that eats his entire ultimate and then some is very important. After level 16 is becomes Darius sides by quite a bit. Sure, you can still look for the 1v1, but he will be better in teamfights over you. If you charge in to kill a priority target you might just give him a reset and he will mop up everyone. You need to look to take him out quick and deny him the resets.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Easy matchupBoring lane, not a whole lot to it. None of your spells interact with his passive, which is not a bad thing as it means you don't care if his passive is up or not when going in for an all in. You can set up a freeze and force him to just use Q to farm and nothing else. If he actually gets to lane game it's annoying as he has way too much health for you to just shred him down quickly. Around level 11 is when he becomes a lot tougher to kill, and at 16 he is incredibly tanky. Your best bet is to just striahgt up ignore him and rush his backline and explode them. Unless he has Titanic Hydra his damage is lacking, only dealing decent damage with auto+E and that's if he can proc Heartsteel on a target.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Bramble Vest > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Sundered SkyHard matchupQuite a tough matchup. It's kind of a skilled matchup until Ravenous Hydra for the both of you. After the first item it can become Fiora sided. Her dash cooldown becomes low and she can outrun your ult every time. She can use her ultimate for movement speed and then Q away. Once your ult is down she can go back and kill you. You need to try and abuse her early on as much as possible. It becomes really annoying once she hits 2 items. Having Sundered Sky makes short trades sting a little less later on and it allows you to have good sustain, but you really need to outplay her early on.

Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Cloth Armor > Page > Stridebeaker > Plated Steelcaps > Death's Dance > Experimental Hexplate Skill matchupThis can be an annoying matchup. Level 1 he can start E and have a keg at his feet. He can be pretty safe with it and there's not a whole lot you can do about it. If he actually starts Q it's best to sit in his Q range and let him spam it. It doesn't deal all that much damage and it makes him run out of mana quickly. Level 6 you can all in decently, but you need to have enough distance to run him down. If you tag him with a Q he can use his W to cleanse the slow, removing the slow and you losing your Approach Velocity speed. The trick in this matchup is to know when you can auto attack a keg and when you need to go for a full all in where the kegs don't matter. You can usually use his level to determine if it's worth to use the auto attack on a keg or not. For example, if he is between levels 7 and 12 he needs to use one of his auto attacks and then a q on a keg to explode it. It could be more worth to let him do that while you go for the full damage on him. There's a chance you do not time your auto attacks properly and you just end up cancelling them as the barrel goes off. You can use auto+w to get 2 auto attacks in quickly, and that way you can destroy it and that is the most reliable one. After level 13 it could be worth to weave in that 1 auto attack on the keg. Because of how fast it ticks down the Gangplank might panic and hard focus on making sure the barrel goes off and does damage. If you see him overfocused on the kegs, ignore them and just go fully into him. It becomes a battle of burst and you need to win it, which is why I think Death's Dance second is a good choice here, as it allows you to have the bleed damage ticking you down instead of all at once, meaning you have more time to kill him before he kills you.

GarenQ > E > W
Precision: Conqueror, Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, Last Stand

Small shards: adaptive force, movement speed, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Hard matchupIt can actually be fine to play out in lane. The issue is you are never killing him if he has Phase Rush. His Q cleanses your slow, meaning you also lose the Approach Velocity speed. He is very resistant to dives as well. Even if you try to 2v1 him under tower he can take one of you down as well because of his ultimate. His ult is also the reason as to why the matchup is hard. Olaf loves to fight at lower health because of his passive giving him extra attack speed and lifesteal. The issue is, Garen can just straight up use his ultimate to kill you and never allow you to play from that lower health. If you ever dip below 25% health and he has ult, you die. It's not like Darius where he needs stacks, he just ults you and then you die, so you can basically never go in first because of it. His ult can shut you down by itself. Late game when he has his rank 3 ultimate you can die from close to 50% health. He can also match you very well on the side lane. He can perma clear waves and just not interact with you. He can get to fights quicker as well due to the items he generally builds such as Dead Man's Plate, Force of Nature and other speed items. Your best bet is to set up a freeze early on and at least deny him that farm, or try to hard proxy and rotate to objectives and fights first. Even though he cannot 1v1 you from full health until the hyper late game, he can make it to where it doesn't matter by just clearing waves and maing the both of you go even, which is a win on his end.

Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Skill matchupIt can be very annoying to get a lead on him in lane. He can always just jump away from you and outrun your ultimate. He will also have Fleet Footwork most of the time, meaning he can also use that speed to escape it even better, on top of his W speed. You can kill him if he is pushing into you and he is in Mega Gnar as his jump puts a loss less distance between the two of you. He also cannot use his ultimate or W stun on you because you are immune to them in your ult. Once you get to Stridebreaker it actually becomes a bit more managable and you can more reliably beat him down. At Experimental Hexplate you should have enough speed to stick to him and kill him even with his Mini Gnar jump.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Maw of Malmortius > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Skill matchupIf he has Grasp of the Undying as his keystone you are completely fine and the matchup becomes easy. If he has Phase Rush that's when the issues start to come in. You always need to burn his Phase Rush before you go for an all in, or he will outrun your ultimate. Once his Phase Rush is down yu can beat him down well as he cannot escape without flashing. Also remember to always stay in front of him so he cannot E away. In teamfights he cannot peel you off anyone no matter what, only try to damage you. If he is playing full ap then his burst can do a lot to you, but with Maw you can eat basically all of it. If he is playing tank he is horribly equipped to deal with you.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate > Black CleaverSkill matchupHe is actually quite strong in melee range due to the way his passive works, and he can gain a lot of distance when he uses his ultimate and E. Fleet Footwork is also a major pain if he has it. That being said, you can out 1v1 him in melee range most of the time. The one thing you actually need to watch out for is his Smokescreen. If you are in it you cannot see anything, meaning you cannot auto attack so you need to get out of it asap. Your E will also cancel if you use it when you see the enemy but then lose vision of them, which can cost you important kills. In the hyper late game his damage and healing goes through the roof, so try not to let the game go there

At 6 it heavily depends on how both players space out, but it is Olaf favored by a bit. He can just choose when he wants to hard engage a fight. If you do not die early on then you should be okay. If Gwen takes ignite, which most of the time they do, skip the Vampiric Scepter and just go for a Hexdrinker rush, especially if she is taking heavy damage. That way you can all in her and tank through her entire ult. At 2 items you can beat her down really well, you are insanely strong, and the Maw shield will block an insane amount of her burst. In the hyper late it swings pretty hard and she can 1v1 you. If she has Zhonya's Hourglass then you will lose it more often than not because your ult will run out.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Hexdrinker > Maw of Malmortius > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous HydraHard matchupYou do not want to leash into him. Make sure you get to lane first and do not allow him to set up his turrets for free. Take them out so he needs to place new ones before the minions spawn. The issue with this matchup is that if you ever try to all in he will put down his big turret and look to 1 shot you. You need to wait for at least Hexdrinker. If you do that you can hard all in and look to burst him down quicker than he can burst you down. Once you have completed Maw, you can easily tank through the turrets, as the shield will block around 500 health or more, even as a first item. However, should he rush Zhonya's Hourglass, you will lose the 1v1 again. If you see him having Seeker's Armguard in his inventory, do not finish the Maw, just start building into Ravenous Hydra and then do Maw. After that, look to perma proxy the waves forcing him to sit under tower the whole time. He cannot deny your proxy and you can go do other stuff around the map. His burst will always be massive, so always be mindful of it.

Small shards: adaptive force, movement speed, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Hard matchupThe reason I think Hwei is a hard matchup is simply because of how long his range and waveclear is. You are never killing the guy. He never has to step out of the turret. He can constantly waveclear and farm up without you ever being able to kill him. If you want to dive him you will always trade 1 for 1, and you can never get close to him without your ult up. Like a lot of other matchups, look to proxy and rotate to objectives first or look to get something on the map, like deep vision in the enemy jungle or even taking camps.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Executioner's Calling > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Sundered Sky > Death's DanceExtremely hard matchupOne of Olaf's worst matchups in the entire game. You want to go in and use your ultimate to fight it hard, but her burst is twice that of yours and she will shred you much quicker. If she holds onto her E and waits for you to all in, then you basically always die. You can be 5/0 but if she hits her E and then ults, you will probably lose that 1v1. You can ONLY fight her if you have Exhaust up, or else you risk dying instantly. Late game you cannot 1v1 her, even if you have Exhaust up you still might lose. Your best bet is to try and teamfight and get on top of the backline quickly. Illaoi can only ever teamfight if her flash is up. If she doesn't have flash up then it becomes much harder for her to find the right angle to 1 shot enemies.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Sundered SkySkill matchupLevel 1 you want to go behind the wave and deny her of the xp from 3 minions. If she tries to get the xp she loses half her hp for free. If she misses her E you can always run her down and win almost every trade. If she hits it, then it can be problematic. You can still win it but a lot less reliably. At level 6 you can beat her, but the issue isn't so much her burst, but the fact that she can dash a lot to a ton of minions. If she starts dashing all over the place your ultimate will run out and that is the actual issue. If you are in a minion wave and Irelia can dash to minions, you need to wait for her to kill every single one and then use your ult or else she can just kite you and then turn to kill you once you lose that power. Do not panic if you start getting low. By the time you are around half her health at least 4 of the 6 minions should be dead, and once all of them die you beat her. If you are struggling with her healing you can rush Bramble Vest or Executioner's Calling if you feel like it.

JaxQ > E > W
Precision: Conqueror, Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, Last Stand
Inspiration: Magical Footwear, Approach Velocity
Small shards: adaptive force, scaling health, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Sundered SkyHard matchupRespect his level 1, it is quite strong. What you want to do is Q from range and just slowly farm up until level 3. At level 3 if he jumps on you and burns his Counter Strike too quickly you can kill him. Most of the time he will do Q+auto+W and then back off, and you can do a quick Q+E+auto and even out the trade most of the time. If he tries to continue the trade with his E you can start walking back which forces him to end his E early, and since his dash would still be on cooldown it means you can chase him down for a kill once it's down. At level 6 it can go both ways. If he has Ignite he has a lot of kill pressure on you, but it is managable. He will still look for very short trades, but this time he will also have the third auto attack from his ultimate passive and it hurt quite a bit, but even if you were to lose the trade by quite a bit of health you are still fine in the longrun. The reason being that you want to rush Ravenous Hydra and once you get to Vampiric Scepter you can heal off most of the damage after the short trade is done, and at the full Hydra you will win every single short trade so long as you fight within a minion wave, because the active will heal almost any damage taken in a short trade. When you look to all in Jax, always be mindful of his E. Since you cannot auto attack him your ult will run out. One thing you can do is hold onto your E for when he uses his Counter Strike so you don't have it run out, since Olaf E also extends the ultimate duration. In the hyper late game he will typically beat you because he can get mutiple E procs off, and if he buys Zhonya's Hourglass you really will not win that.

Small shards: adaptive force, movement speed, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Hard matchupTypically Jayce takes Phase Rush so it will be very hard to catch up to him, so much so that more often than not I take Ravenous Hydra over Stridebreaker, simply because Phase Rush gives champions so much speed with it that into basically any matchup when I see that rune I don't even atempt to get close to them, like ever. He will constantly poke you down from range and you can do very little about it. The one time you can 100% kill him is if his Phase Rush is down and he jumps on you to try and greed an extra trade. With your ult he dies from that. The matchup is actually not that horrible if he doesn't have Phase Rush as you can kill him a lot more, but generally that's not the case. Generally look to go into teamfights more and try to quickly rush down the enemies, Jayce wants to spam poke and weaken everyone before going in to kill, so it's ideal you never allow him to do that and engage at full health.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Sundered Sky > Black CleaverSkill matchupIt's actually quite a boring matchup, it's mostly about being patient and not being greedy. The only way he ever kills you is if he pushes you into turret or you allow yourself to get really low. He cannot really force a fight with you, just slowly poking, but the poke is so slow that just having Vampiric Scepter is enough to outheal his Q+auto damage. He can kite your ult decently when he uses his own. His W cooldown resets and he can also save his E dash on top of the initial dash the ultimate provides. If you are in your ultimate and he uses his next to a wall, you do not get taken. Instead, he goes over the wall but you do not. This can end up being both good and bad. It's good because you don't risk going under turret, but it can be bad because this can also be used as a very good escape tool from an all in on your end. At your 3 core items you really start to hurt a lot and can chip his health under turret reliably, forcing him to back off and give you turret damage.

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra/Stridebreaker vs Ghost > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Skill matchupNot a horrible lane, but she can give you somewhat of a tough time due to her own ultimate. She also has decent burst damage early on and she can surprise you with her high damage if she hits her W. Late game she will most likely go for the full ap high burst poke damage. It's very important to not let her get there. You can actually freeze the wave and never let her farm, only through her W, or set up a dive and kill her under turret pretty reliably.

Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Shield > Phage > Stridebreaker > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate > Maw of MalmortiusExtremely hard matchupYou can deny her the first 3 minions worth of xp by walking past the wave and stopping her there. You can also look to push into the turret the 3rd or 4th wave and get a cheater recall off. The wave will bounce back and you can look to hold a freeze. However, here is the issue: unless you can guarantee you get to Kayle and kill her you will break the freeze with any form of fighting. Olaf has to chase down really far and that can break the freeze by walking through some minions and tank some damage, giving the wave a chance to break up the freeze created. At the same time, even if you tag Kayle with Q, she can use her own Q to slow you down and you will not be able to reach her. He also has poor gank setup in this situation because you really want hard cc to lock Kayle down properly, so you rely on the jungler to bail you out. The best thing you can hope for is to try and permanently hold up a freeze, never interacting with Kayle. Even if it seems tempting, she can still escape. Ideally you get to around level 6 while she is just hitting 5, and that can give you a window to set up a dive. This is your only window to beat her. After this, she starts to anihilate you. Once she also hits 6 it becomes hell for you to fight her. If you ult in she can use either her Ghost or her own ultimate and live, and she can mega abuse you while your ult is down. Once she gets to Boots of Swiftness it's over. She can never die, but she can always run you down. You either hard abuse her in the first 5 levels or you get anihilated. And sometimes that's not enough as well because it's up to the jungler to come dive the Kayle early or to just kill her.

Long Sword/ Cloth Armor/ Ruby Crystal/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Cloth Armor > Phage > Stridebreaker > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental HexplateHard matchupLevels 1-5 can go for either one. It heavily depends on how well both sides play. His heal cut is very annoying and can pose a threat to you at all times. You need to hard burst him once he dismounts because if he remounts he will almost always win. Your level 6 is generally stronger than his and if he tries a full out all in you should be on the winning side most of the time. The issue is that he has a lot of pressure until level 6, and at 6 he can trade his ult for yours, and that's better for him, as he can fight you once your ult is down. Once you get to Stridebreaker and Plated Steelcaps that is when it becomes harder for him to beat you. Generally he looks to very short trade into you a few times and then goes for the all in, so with those 2 you can chase him down when he tries to run away with his E. Once you also have Experimental Hexplate that is when the matchup fully swings and you can start beating him down. That being said, do not underestimate his damage, it is still quite high and the heal cut is always a threat to you.

Long Sword/ Cloth Armor/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Bramble Vest > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Skill matchupIn lane it's not too horrible. You cannot stop his W once he starts it, and his level 6 all in is actually quite strong especially with Ignite, so try to ensure you have Bramble Vest before you hard fight him, or you actually risk losing it.

Small shards: adaptive force, movement speed, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Easy MatchupIt can actually be mildly annoying because all she will do is permanently use her Q to poke you down, but once you get at least Tiamat she gets destroyed. At Ravenous Hydra she can never get you into her lethal range, ever. You can just hold onto the active until she jumps on you and then use it. You will instantly kill every single one of her dogs and heal based off the damage dealt.

Small shards: adaptive force, movement speed, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Executioner's Calling > Black Cleaver > Sundered Sky > Sterak's GageSkill matchupThe lane is mostly about wave management. You want to ensure you freeze up and never let him walk up to farm for free. If he has Phase Rush then it could be quite difficult, as if you want to go for an all in you must make sure he does not have it, or you will not kill. Another thing you can do is let the wave push under his turret and constantly E him under turret, chipping his health bit by bit. His healing won't be able to keep up with the constant damage, especially if you also have Executioner's Calling and you manage to proc it each trade. If Nasus does end up having Phase Rush in his runes it could actually be better to max your E first so you can deal a lot of true damage early on and not even have to worry about the mana used. This is in the case if you also cannot hold a freeze on your side for long enough.

Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Maw of Malmortius > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Skill matchupYou can actually kill her, but the issue is her W. If she procs it then she will get a lot of speed and she can also activate it for the clone, and that becomes a mindgame at that point. If you tag her with a Q yu can go for an all in as she cannot trick you with her W. The clone will not be slowed down, but she will, so you can tell wher to do the chase and close in for the kill. Her E and ultimate do not affect you, so should you tag her you can kill.

Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Easy matchupShe just can't punch through you, at all. Once you have Ravenous Hydra you heal off any damage she deals.

NilahQ > E > W
Precision: Conqueror, Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, Last Stand
Inspiration: Magical Footwear, Approach Velocity
Small shards: adaptive force, movement speed, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Skill matchupYou have to be careful of her W as it is basically a Jax Counter Strike, so she can make it to where you cannot auto attack. There' also the fact that she can dash 2 times quickly through her own minions and that can make you drop your ultimate. Other than that, it's a solid lane for you, not super hard, but you need to play around that W and try to burn at least one dash before going in.

NocturneQ > E > W

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Easy MatchupHe doesn't have the damage to kill you. At level 1 you can walk in the middle of the wave and tank his snowball a few times and not care. At Ravenous Hydra you can always heal his entire basic combo.

Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Skill matchupGenerally the one who burns his W when it does offer the maximum value loses. Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Stridebreaker/ Ravenous Hydra vs Phase Rush > Maw of Malmortius Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Skill matchupThe thing that makes it annoying is that usually she takes Phase Rush so you always need to burn it before going in, but that's literally it. Once it's down and you tag her with Q she dies.

OrnnQ > E > W
Precision: Conqueror, Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, Last Stand

Long Sword/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Vampiric Scepter > Ravenous Hydra > Plated Steelcaps >Black Cleaver > Experimental HexplateEasymatchupYou are immune to his brittle auto attack damage during your ultimate. If he is ever halfway up the lane and you hit a Q he just dies as you can run him over.

PantheonQ > E > W

Small shards: adaptive force, scaling health, scaling/ flat health
Summoner spells: Flash+ Ghost
Long Sword/ Cloth Armor/ Ruby Crystal/ Boots (if no Magical Footwear)Doran's Blade > Cloth Armor > Phage > Stridebreaker > Plated Steelcaps > Experimental Hexplate Hard matchupYou just need to survive until Phage and Cloth Armor. After that you can start to fight him reliably. The issue is he has a ton of poke with him constantly using Q and he has high kill pressure. If you need to give minions, do not greed, just back off and lose a few. If walking up for a minion loses you more than 10% of your health it is bad. As a rule, you can afford to lose a maxium of 4-5% of your health per minion killed, so if you go to kill 3 minions at once it is fine to lose a total of 12-15%, but higher than that can be problematic. Once you get to Stridebreaker and Plated Steelcaps it becomes much easier to 1v1 him. You just have to close the gap quickly with your ultimate and beat him down in melee range. If you want you can also take Sundered Sky second instead of Experimental Hexplate.
