The DRIVEN InstituteOrganizationA regenerative learning ecosystem focused on helping people cultivate vitality through understanding their five energy sources: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and social. We measure wealth holistically across seven capitals and operate on ReCap (Responsible Capitalism) principles.
3
Spark 360ProgramsYour owner's manual for the human operating system. This four-part foundational workshop helps you understand your energetic architecture—the five energy tanks (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, social)—and how to maintain them. Graduates receive a Skills Wallet and are invited to apply for LAB membership.
4
The LABProgramsWhere learning becomes lived experience. A monthly membership practice community where members explore regenerative practices, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen relational intelligence through science-based content AND peer learning, shared experiences, and collective sense-making. This is where belonging, curiosity, and vitality intersect.
5
Spark StudioProgramsOur education and certification hub where facilitators, coaches, and pod leaders learn to spread the spark—developing the knowledge and presence to guide others through regenerative practices and community building. Includes the Mastermind for Growth for ongoing facilitator support. Launches June 2026.
6
Spark NetworkProgramsThe outward-facing expression of our ecosystem. We partner with organizations, schools, and communities to help them design their own regenerative systems, supporting human and social capital through culture-building, leadership development, and training. Two tracks: Organizational Partnerships and Community Regeneration.
7
DRIVEN 2 Wellness (D2W)Legacy TermOriginal name for the foundational four-part workshop series. Being converted to Spark 360 starting April 2026. Final D2W cohort (6th iteration) launches January 29, 2026 at beta pricing of $199.
8
DRIVEN Community LAB (DCL)Legacy TermOriginal name for the practice community. Now simply called 'The LAB' as part of Institute rebranding.
9
ReCap (Responsible Capitalism)FrameworkOur proprietary alignment system braiding together: Seven Capitals (holistic wealth measurement), Conscious Capitalism's 4 tenets (Higher Purpose, Stakeholder Orientation, Conscious Leadership, Conscious Culture), and Regenerative Capitalism's 8 principles. We use ReCap as an ongoing reflection tool to pressure-test choices and ensure growth produces value for all stakeholders.
10
Seven CapitalsFrameworkOur holistic view of wealth: 1) Financial Capital (money, economic resources), 2) Human Capital (skills, knowledge, wellbeing), 3) Social Capital (relationships, networks, shared values), 4) Intellectual Capital (innovation, systems, knowledge), 5) Natural Capital (environmental resources), 6) Cultural Capital (identity, meaning, heritage), 7) Public Safety (our unique 7th capital, central to community resilience).
11
Five Energy SourcesFrameworkThe foundational framework of human architecture: 1) Physical Energy (body, movement, rest, nutrition), 2) Emotional Energy (feelings, regulation, resilience), 3) Mental Energy (thinking, focus, cognitive capacity), 4) Spiritual Energy (purpose, meaning, values, connection to something larger), 5) Social Energy (relationships, communication, belonging, contribution). These are deeply interconnected—deficiency in one impacts all others.
12
SPARK AcronymFrameworkS = Self-awareness, P = Practice, A = Agency, R = Regeneration, K = Kinship. The full message: A spark ignites. It spreads. It illuminates. It warms. And when tended with intention, it becomes the fire that transforms energy into vitality—for individuals, communities, and the systems that connect us.
13
Communities of Practice (CoP)FrameworkGroups of people who share a concern or passion and learn how to do it better through regular interaction. Communities develop unique practices, rituals, and histories specific to their context. Engagement in social practice is how we become who we are. (Source: Etienne Wenger's research)
14
Three-Part Safety AgreementFrameworkOur foundation for psychological safety: 1) Participant Agreements (what members commit to), 2) WOWs/Ways of Working (cultural vows we co-create), 3) SEEK Safely Promise (commitment to honesty, transparency, safety, accountability, ethical practice). We offer education and guidance, NOT clinical mental health services.
15

24
WOWs (Ways of Working)CultureCultural vows we take to be in community with each other—NOT rules imposed from above. Current WOWs include: Content Release, Mental Health Disclaimer, Cultural Mindset (positive intent), Grievance Protocol (curiosity over judgment), Netiquette, Accountability Reframe, 'Don't tell unless asked,' and 'We act as mirrors, not guides.' WOWs are co-created and evolve as the community grows.
25
Content ReleaseWOWIn an effort to keep the Institute experience confidential while being committed to sharing learnings with future clients, the Institute may publish images and excerpts from programs and LAB experiences after appropriately anonymizing them.
26
Mental Health DisclaimerWOWParticipants recognize that DRIVEN professionals offer a wellness immersion experience in the form of science-based education, guidance, and instruction. We adhere to the SEEK Safely Promise. The experience shall in no way be misconstrued as clinical, and facilitators shall not be considered substitutes for mental health clinicians.
27
Cultural MindsetWOWThe Institute is committed to assuming positive intent in community member situations. We replace judgment with appreciation of others as they contribute honestly and vulnerably in community.
28
Grievance ProtocolWOWIf you witness an alleged violation of the WOWs, you are invited to either request a conversation with the alleged violator or approach an Institute officer. Any conversation shall come from a place of curiosity rather than judgment, in order to better understand the other's point of view.
29
NetiquetteWOWVirtual meeting guidelines: Cameras on (except when in motion), microphones muted (except when speaking), no bots taking notes. If you need to eat during a session, do so discreetly.
30
Accountability ReframeWOWFrom Thosh Collins, co-author of The Seven Circles: 'When you go outside of Native Country into dominant society, your actions reflect all Native people. It is not a bad thing to be held accountable. It shows that you belong.' Being held accountable is a privilege of kinship.
31
Don't Tell Unless AskedWOWFrom Priya Parker's The Art of Gathering: Members could only talk about what they 'sell' if someone asked for help or asked about what they did. This protects community members from being seen only as potential customers or investors and protects gatherings from becoming crass.
32
We Act as Mirrors, Not GuidesWOWEach person sees the world from their own perspective. We can't possibly understand another's point of view. Out of respect for others' journeys, we refrain from offering 'advice' or perspective without asking for permission first.
33
VitalityCore ConceptThe exuberant strength, meaningful purpose, and power to grow that lets both individuals and communities thrive. It manifests as: 1) Exuberant physical strength and mental vigor—the energy to show up fully, 2) Capacity for meaningful, purposeful existence—the clarity to align action with values, 3) Power to grow and contribute—the resilience to sustain impact over time.
34
Regenerative EcosystemCore ConceptA system that doesn't merely sustain but actively renews and increases vitality—where energy, learning, and contribution cycle back to strengthen the whole. Like nutrients in healthy soil or blood in a body, capital must circulate to sustain health. Outputs become inputs, learners become teachers, and the system grows stronger with each cycle.
35
AgencyCore ConceptThe ability to make decisions and take action on one's own behalf, and the sense of control one feels in their life. It's the capacity to influence one's thoughts and behavior, and to have faith in one's ability to handle a range of tasks and situations. Agency is both an undeniable right and a sacred responsibility.
36
AbundanceCore ConceptA feeling of expansiveness, celebration, support, nourishment, joy, and security. In our economy, exchange is energy—and when energy regenerates, abundance follows.
37
Growth MindsetCore ConceptThe belief that our abilities and intelligence can be developed through effort, learning, and persistence. The opposite of a fixed mindset that says 'this is just who I am.'
38
InclusionCore ConceptSeeking to understand, accepting completely, and incorporating differing views, opinions, and beliefs as a means of development. True inclusion strengthens community by honoring diverse perspectives.
39
CelebrationCore ConceptAcknowledging the baby steps. Celebration marks history and builds neurochemical pathways that sustain motivation. We celebrate progress, not just perfection.
40
Personal Energy ManagementCore ConceptMaintaining our five personal energy sources (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, social) through intentional practice and sustainable habits. The foundation of all vitality work.
41
Responsibility
Accountability Framework
The state of being the person who caused something to happen. Responsibility is about WHO did it—being the source or origin of an action or outcome. It's acknowledging your role in what occurred, whether intentional or unintentional.
42
Accountability
Accountability Framework
Being willing to answer for the outcomes resulting from your choices, behaviors, and actions. Accountability is about ANSWERING FOR what happened—being willing to explain, justify, or face consequences. It's forward-looking: 'What will I do about this?'
43
Ownership
Accountability Framework
Taking full responsibility AND accountability—being the person who caused it (responsibility) and being willing to answer for it (accountability), PLUS taking initiative to make it right without being asked. Ownership is proactive. It's saying: 'This is mine to solve, and I'm acting on it.'
44
WillingnessCore ConceptThe readiness and openness to engage with a process, practice, or change—even when it's uncomfortable. Willingness is the bridge between knowing what to do and actually doing it. In the D2W Formula: Intentional Choice + Willingness = Success.
45
The Light Wolf and the Dark WolfMetaphorA teaching story about two wolves inside each of us—one representing positive qualities (love, joy, peace, hope, kindness) and one representing negative qualities (fear, anger, envy, regret, greed). The wolf that wins is the one you feed. Used to illustrate that we have agency in which aspects of ourselves we cultivate.
46
D2W FormulaFrameworkIntentional Choice + Willingness = Success. The foundational equation showing that transformation requires both deliberate decision-making AND the readiness to follow through.
47
Skills WalletToolsA system for making human capital visible and trackable. Documents your growth across power skills (energy management, intentional productivity, emotional intelligence, relational agility) through badges and certificates earned in Spark 360, LAB HUDDLES, and Spark Studio. Launching with Spark 360 in April 2026.
48
SPARK SkillsToolsThe integration of Personal Energy Management, Intentional Productivity, Relational Agility, and VUCA Vigilance—the ability to stay aware, adaptable, and agile in volatile environments. Also known as "power skills"—the blend that creates new professional differentiators.
49
VUCAFrameworkVolatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity. Our VUCA workshops serve as EXPERIMENTS to introduce communities to our methodology, helping shift participants from individual anxiety to collective agency.
50
SEEK Safely PromiseEthicsA commitment to honesty, transparency, safety, accountability, and ethical practice in wellness and educational settings. We acknowledge that we offer education and guidance, not clinical mental health services. We are signatories to this promise.
51
Spark PlugsEcosystem RoleWORKING TERM: Currently using "Spark-certified facilitators" to describe Spark Studio graduates who spread human vitality frameworks across contexts the Institute cannot reach alone. Final terminology to be determined.
52
Pollinator NetworkVisionWORKING TITLE: Our long-term vision for spreading community resilience methodology through certified facilitators across geographic and sector boundaries. Their names, commitment, and presence become part of the Institute's origin story. Recognition includes documented status as Institute Founding Member.
54
Mastermind for GrowthSpark StudioOngoing support community where Spark Studio students and graduates collaborate to design, launch, and sustain their own regenerative communities of practice. Serves as both recertification pathway (every 2 years) and innovation space.
55
Partner Think TankSpark NetworkSpace where community partners co-create support systems, share learnings, and strengthen the Partner Hub infrastructure. Lives within Spark Network (not Spark Studio).
56
Psychological SafetyResearchThe belief that one won't be punished or humiliated for speaking up with ideas, questions, concerns, or mistakes. Research by Amy Edmondson shows psychological safety is foundational to learning, innovation, and high-performing teams. Our WOWs create containers where vulnerability becomes strength.
57
Neuroscience of TrustResearchPaul Zak's research showing that trust is built through specific neurochemical responses (oxytocin release) triggered by behaviors like recognition, challenge, autonomy, relationship-building, and fairness. Our celebration practices and WOWs activate these trust-building mechanisms.
58
Regenerative CycleEcosystemThe flow through our four stages: Spark 360 → LAB → Spark Studio → Spark Network, with continuous feedback loops. Graduates become members, select members become facilitators, facilitators strengthen the community, and organizational insights feed back into curriculum. This is regeneration in practice.
59
Four-Stream Work SystemOperationsHow Institute work is organized: Stream 1 (Foundation/Intellectual Capital), Stream 2 (Community/Relational Capital), Stream 3 (External Growth/Social-Financial Capital), Stream 4 (Operations/Infrastructure). Work flows in streams, regenerates through cross-pollination, and builds multiple capitals simultaneously.
60
Integration AuditOperationsQuarterly assessment of every project across four dimensions: 1) Vitality check (energizing or depleting?), 2) Capital generation (which capitals does this build?), 3) Ecosystem synergy (does this make other work easier?), 4) Trust building (does this strengthen WOWs and psychological safety?). Projects scoring low get deprioritized or redesigned.
