About this Document
12
Here is a collection of trail-related data I have assembled from various online sources. I have tried to give proper credit for each, but if I have forgotten to or got something wrong, please let me know.

Note that any mileage numbers should be treated merely as rough estimates as the trail changes every year, sometimes by more than a mile and some of my sources are a bit old (as far back as 2010). 2020 NOBO mile numbers are taken from Guthook while SOBO numbers are a simple subtraction of the NOBO mile from the current year's total mileage.

SheetDescription
22
AT P.O.I.This is a collection of various points of interest along the trail that I have gathered from multiple sources and combined together. Note that mile info is rough at best because information comes from different years and the trail changes each year.
NOTES: The Type of POI column may not always list all options available, especially for lodging options which may offer food. resupply or showers but aren't listed as such; prices and other note deails may not be accurate - please send any corrections or volunteer to be an editor.
23
Filter POIUse this sheet to display only one specific type of POI from the main AT POI sheet. This should make it easy to focus on just what you are looking for (lodging, post offices, resupply points, etc.)
24
Mailing LabelsThis sheet will automatically list all mailing labels for any locations you have selected in the AT POI sheet which you can then print, cut to size and use for your mail drop packages.
NOTE: Always call any lodging location to verify they still accept mail drops before sending any
25
Beer LocationsA list of beer locations along the trail found originally on a WhiteBlaze forum post
26
Resupply Points MapScott Martin made a Google Map of AT resupply points; click through to see the live version
27
NOBO PlannerLets you enter your start date and number of miles you hope to average and it will create a plan you can follow with each day showing the next feature (e.g., shelter) to reach (as well as the one immediately before it), the next town and the estimated elevation (and relevant change in elevation).
