Morphology for SecondaryAll teachers know that vocabulary is a huge piece of the content that is taught; however it feels that every year teachers are teaching the same vocabulary words. Is there a better way to teach the meaning of words? YES! By teaching students the meaning of each part of a word through a problem-solving approach, students are better equipped for reading fluency, comprehension, spelling, and sentence development based on learning morphology. This training is not based on literacy standards, but on the content standards for each content area.
