41	It's hard to be a con artist without charm, and Veles has enough of that. However, he doesn't have the overwhelming, forceful, over the top charm that most expect from con artists. For all intents and purposes, he seems like a kind, thoughtful, curious person, mainly because he is actually all of these things. It's part of what makes his cons so dangerous, because like most good con artists, most of the time he isn't lying. This, paired with his natural confidence, makes him a magnetic person. He's easygoing and friendly, and he sounds like he knows what he's talking about, so it's easy to get pulled in without ever feeling like you were pulled in. He acts like he should be listened to, so you want to listen to him. Despite all of this, at his core, Veles is cutthroat, power-hungry, and ambitious, and if push comes to shove, he will use whatever means necessary to achieve his goals. Relationships and friendships are good, but in the end, connections are only useful when they're exploited. Veles will manipulate and exploit even the closest of his friends if he feels that he must, and while he will feel guilty, he will not let that guilt stop him from doing what he thinks is best for himself. Veles never grew up with any monetary resources, so he had to learn how to tap into people as a resource, and while in theory he may be able to form relationships with people so deeply he feels that he cannot betray them, it hasn't happened so far. To temper these last two paragraphs a little bit, Veles does not burn through friends and acquiantances quickly, he prefers to keep his friends as friends, but at the end of the day, achieving what he wants will near always be more important to him than people. The manipulative side of Veles is one that is rarely to be seen, but dangerous when it appears.							- Restore the name of the Cardona family, and provide his father with enough money to live comfortably. At the end of the day, his love for his father is why he does all of this. - Sabotage Verai. Veles blames Verai for destroying his father, and he wants revenge. As such, he will do everything he can during his time in the accursed nation to weaken it and cause problems. He probably can't do much, but whatever he can do, he will. - More to be discovered when I actually have more than a single hour to think on his character. I'm really happy that I managed to make this in an hour.
