11 | Canon announced a 246.7-megapixel APS-H CMOS image sensor that fits into consumer DSLR cameras. It has a readout speed of 1.25 billion pixels per second. Canon claims it can make out the lettering on an airplane flying 11 miles away. 13 | Meanwhile the Economic Times of India reports Microsoft plans to launch multiple Windows 10 phones in India by the end of the year. Currently the Lumia 638 is the only dual-band 4G smartphone available from Microsoft in India. All three fought for the right to control pricing when selling e-Books through Amazon. Average prices for eBooks from the five major publishers is $10.81 on Amazon now while all other ebooks average $4.95 according to Codex Group LLC. The publishers believe prices may have an impact on sales but hat title quality is a bigger factor.
