READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

Excel software: use the TAB key to go to the next cell that will allow entry. Use your SHIFT key and TAB key to go back to a cell. To print the whole application, select "Entire workbook" in the "Print" settings.

Google Sheets: use mouse to select each cell that requires input. To print the whole application, in Print Settings, select "All Sheets" in Options (deselect all boxes in right column of Options); and select "Fit to Width" AND "Portrait" in Layout.

Grant Information:
- Grants will be awarded for initiating or improving SAE program.

- Recipients will be determined by the grants award committee, based on this
13
application information. All grants are in the form of cash awards (checks) issued
14
to recipients. All grants are paid to the recipient with the understanding that the award
15
funds will be used to meet expenses of improving or starting their SAE.

- Grant monies are paid to the FFA member upon receipt of written thank you note(s) to
17
program sponsor(s).

- It is understood that anyone awarded an SAE Grant will complete a Final Report in
19
order to be eligible for any future SAE Grants.

- A major part of the judging is based upon advisor's statement addressing financial need
21
and eligibility for the grant.

Grant Requirements:- Application MUST be typed and be the current year's application.

- Must be in grades 7 - 11 during the 2018-19 school year.

- Must presently be a member of the FFA. Members may apply for all grants for which
27
they are eligible.

- Must show financial need.

- Application must be signed by both student and advisor.

- No other materials may be attached.

- Limit one grant per student

Grant Areas:
- Grain Production - Eligibility to projects directly related to grain production

- Dairy - Eligibility restricted to projects directly related to dairy production.

- Livestock - Eligibility restricted to projects directly related to livestock production.

- Organic Agriculture - Eligibility restricted to projects directly related to organic

agriculture.

- SAE - Eligibility restricted to new SAE projects.
