I live in a neighborhood with no HOA. I take a lot of pride in my home. While I love most of my neighbors, my next door neighbors to the south of me are renters and the house is completely trashed. Basically, the owners of the house are slumlords and I’m told all their properties are this way. I don’t believe anything can be done about this because we are not within city limits and there is no enforcement to control filth or complete disarray of property.
