I hope what I'm going say might be of help to another, well of late I've been passing hapo community that's along milimani law court, ministry of roads and transport hq are and all I noticed business ya mayai boiled, smocha is booming in that area. But here is the thing it's booming coz young people are working there but also older people too and they aren't familiar eating that types of "junks" in the morning. So if a person could start incorporating yams( ngwashe) , arrow roots (nduma) and those to boiled eggs he could take alot from that area. That's just a business idea
I think your idea sounds really cool. It's nice to see new options that can reach more people. Maybe you could think about adding some tasty spices or sauces to make things more exciting. Also, a fun sign or a catchy name might grab more attention.

Miniature Subscription Service - Business Idea
This is not the only service I am going to be offering but this one I am most on the fence about.

I used to print and paint bad guys for my friends D&D game. They would get a couple monsters a week. I did it for free for them cause they are friends and it was really good practice and it was cheap cause I was printing them.

I am considering offering a subscription service doing the same thing for game groups. Pay $X and get X mini's per week/biweekly/monthly. Pay less for a grab bag of whatever I have been painting. More for specific mini's.

I am not trying to make a living out of it. Just enough money to support the minis for the mini games I play and my cardboard crack.

Any thoughs?
I think it sounds like a cool plan. Lots of people like fun toys to play with, and minis can make games better. You might want to think about how to get the word out to more game groups. Maybe you can add a way for people to share pics of their games with your minis, that could be neat.

How could I make a living working at home with MS? I was a RN, but now my energy fluctuates beyond what most employers can accommodate. My state workforce commission and some disability organizations both said a business idea may be the best option for me at this point. However, I'm open to suggestions.

Business idea

Sobrang laking budget ang kailangan kaya hanggang pangarap nalang ako. Share ko na din dito. Since 2019, nasa isip ko na to. Lalo nung nagka pandemic & nauso ang online delivery ng food.

Bale, yung naisip ko, gumamit ng hybrid bikes instead na yung gas lang sa pag dedeliver ng mga online orders, food man or other stuffs. Pwede din pang commute like angkas. I’m talking about the type of bike na de pedal ah pero hybrid so mukha siyang motor. Bale, pag naubos yung gas pwede mag electric mode and vice versa, tapos pwede din i-pedal if ever malapit lang yung drop-off/pickup point. Siyempre etong mga hybrid bikes na to will be provided by the company.

First off, masyadong mahal kasi provided by company yung mga motor. Wala din masyado charging station dito para sa mga ev. & madaming risk, like pwede ma nakaw yung unit. Madami din competition.

Any opinion?
I think your idea is pretty cool and could help a lot of people. Maybe you could find a way to make the bikes cheaper or get help from other companies to share the cost. It would also be nice to have more safe places to charge them. You are thinking about a lot of important stuff, so that's good.

I'm trying to build a solution to a problem that I encountered when trying to learn a new language. Very often I end up learning all the technical stuff but when it comes to conversation, it seems that I'm not able to have a good and fluent conversation as the sole focus of the language learning apps are grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

To check if it's something that people could be interested I created a simple page with a CTA to check if actual people could be interested in.
I think your idea could really help people who want to talk better in a new language. Maybe you could add some fun games or real chat practice with others. Business idea to get more knowledge, curious about your opinion/view
Hi guys!

As an entrepreneur, I've ventured into various projects over the years, and I've found a recurring factor behind my successes: collaboration. In most successful projects, I had the support of people with exceptional expertise in specific areas, whether it was marketing, technical know-how, or industry insights. Their knowledge complemented my vision, bringing it to life in ways I couldn’t have achieved alone.

Having a talented team or partners who understand the intricacies of a niche makes all the difference (imo). Their input, skill sets, and perspectives helped me overcome challenges that would have otherwise slowed down progress or led to missed opportunities.

I genuinely believe that one of the smartest moves an entrepreneur can make is knowing when to seek out others with strengths that complement their own. Success isn't just about having a great idea, it’s about surrounding yourself with people who can elevate that idea to the next level.

Now what I would like your opinion about: Because of the things I mentioned above, I’m thinking about building a free (private) community for like-minded individuals, where only verified people can join. Everyone will go through an application process with detailed questions to prove their skills, experience (earnings?) and commitment to bringing value to others. The goal is to create a space where genuine knowledge and maybe even "how to make money with" guides-sharing happens among people who are committed to mutual growth and support. Something I have missed back in the early days of entrepreneurship (and sometimes still miss). Let me know your thoughts!

I think your idea sounds pretty good. Having a place for people to share their knowledge can really help everyone get better together. Maybe you could add a fun way for members to share their own stories or tips, so it feels more personal. Also, consider having regular meet-ups or online chats to keep the community active.

Me and my friend are high and came up with a business idea. Is it good or should we just get higher?
1. Buy a thermal camera to check cold spots in house.
2. Charge people a small fee to see where cold spots are and give a written report on where they can improve / suggest products like draft excluders and window insulation etc.
3. All of this for something like £30 a callout.

Are we about to hit big on Dragon's Den or should we just give up?
I think your idea is pretty neat. Lots of people want to save on their energy bills, so helping them find where their homes are cold could be useful. You might think about adding some fun tips on how to keep homes warm or making it easy for customers to book your service online. Seeking Advice: Business Idea for an 8-Wheeler truck
Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all well. I find myself in a unique position and would really appreciate any insights or suggestions you might have. My lolo and tatay used to run a business, but unfortunately, nalugi because of bad management. After everything was settled, one of the assets na naiwan was an 8-wheeler truck. Ung lolo ko, wanting to keep it in the family, iniwan sakin na pamana nalang, which I deeply value.

I’m now considering how I could honor his legacy by building a business around this truck and hopefully creating something sustainable. I would be grateful for any ideas.

Here are a few thoughts I’ve had so far:
• Gamitin for delivery or hauling Service. Dati ginagamit siya sa pagdeliver ng gulay
• Rental Service iparent ko nalang to others who might need a heavy-duty truck occasionally.

If you have any other ideas or advice, I’d love to hear them. Maraming salamat po!
I think it's great that you want to use the truck to start something new. Maybe you could think about teaming up with local farms or markets to help them move their stuff. Also, putting some ads online could get more people to notice you. Just make sure to plan things out so it runs smoothly.

I'm a high school developer who's interested in resolving environmental issues. The one that I'm currently thinking about is the jellyfish blooming due to the rise of ocean temperature, but I have no idea where to start. Any idea on a business that I can establish, not necessarily on jellyfish blooming but on any possible environmental crisis? Literally the smallest idea is just as fine.
That sounds like a cool way to help the planet. You could think about using tech to track or learn more about ocean changes, or even make a fun app for people to get involved. Maybe you could also create awareness with a simple website or a local project. Just start with little steps and see where it goes.

What do you think of this jewelry business idea with in-house production, online sales, and 90% diamond buyback?

Hey everyone, I’m working on a jewelry business concept and would love your feedback. The idea is to offer affordable gold jewelry with in-house production to keep costs low and quality high, with making charges around 15%.

Additionally, I plan to offer a 90% diamond buyback, giving customers confidence in their purchase as both an investment and an art piece.

Sales will primarily focus on online platforms, complemented by a showroom for customers who prefer to see the pieces in person. While marketing might lead to some initial cash burn, we expect to generate a 2-5% monthly ROI on sales once we start attracting customers and building a loyal base.

With in-house production, we anticipate steady turnover in gold and strong customer retention.

What do you think of this approach? Could it work in today’s market? Looking forward to your thoughts!

Got a business idea, but not sure if it’s worth pursuing? Before you take the leap, ask yourself these 3 important questions:
1. Am I solving a real problem?
2. Can the people facing this problem afford my solution?

If you’re nodding ‘yes’ to all three, your idea could be on the path to success!

Hey everyone, My girlfriends and I want to start a body wash/showering business. We've already bought bathing supplies and uniforms, formed a business plan, and are now looking for a space to operate out of. I've done my share of research online already but wanted to reach out here and see if anyone knows about any permits/licenses/ insurance we might need or any legalities surrounding this type of business venture. This is solely for the purpose of men/women coming to get a therapeutic shower in a nice, comfortable setting. The employees are wearing covered uniforms and will not be performing any sexual acts whatsoever. They will wash the entire body but it stops there. Would love to scale this nationally some day but for now we're starting in Kansas City, MO.
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance ☺️

Technical resource for validating Gen AI based business idea!
I have a business idea in the healthcare sector, leveraging Generative AI (Gen AI). The strategy focuses on creating unique and accumulative value through features like stickiness, network effects, and incremental improvements. While the ultimate test lies in execution, I’m fully committed to dedicating my time and resources to validate whether the idea gains traction.

Currently, I’m conducting market research to evaluate the business case. This involves engaging with domain experts and gathering feedback from potential buyers and users. To support these discussions, I use presentations to provide background on the concept and structured questionnaires to guide the conversations. Additionally, I plan to create a low-fidelity wireframe that I can introduce during discussions for more specific input when needed.

However, I’ve recently started feeling apprehensive about the technical feasibility, the cost of building the solution, and its overall profitability roadmap. I’m beginning to wonder if I should allocate time to assess the solutioning aspect—specifically the feasibility, technical options, and associated costs—before diving too deep into the business side.

I have a decent technical background, allowing me to understand architecture, design, and technical choices. That said, I need guidance from a Generative AI or LLM expert who can help translate my business vision into concrete engineering options. At the moment, I’m unsure where to turn for this expertise and would appreciate any tips or recommendations from this community.

My post comply with the rules.
I think your idea is cool and could help a lot of people. It might be good to talk to more experts or look at what others have done in this area. Some examples or research could show how your idea is different. figuring out the tech side first sounds smart.

I think your idea is really interesting and has a lot of potenchal. You could maybe think about making it easier for people to find and use it. It might also be good to think about how to tell more people about it. Overall, keep working on it and it could turn into something great.

Azealia’s golden business idea
I would pay good good money if she decided to start a cameo for the sole purpose of everyone paying top dollar for a personalised roast.

Seriously…PLEASE START THIS IMMEDIATELY.
That sounds like a fun idea. People love to joke around and make each other laugh, so it could really work. Maybe she could have different price levels for different types of roasts, like funny or silly. That way, everyone can pick what they like best.

How to go about finding out if a new business idea is good or bad?
I've been thinking about opening a really small business, in a niche category. There doesn't seem to be any others in Ireland yet but I've seen them in the UK and America.
Before I go to the effort of actually doing it and it being a flop, does anyone know of subs/websites/spaces to put an idea out there for feedback?
Also, maybe information regarding investors or grants?
That sounds like a cool plan. You could ask friends or family what they think to get some ideas. Also, checking local websites or groups could help you find people who might want to help. Maybe you could think about how to make it even more special for people here.

Business idea for NB
I've been living in NB for 20 years and I've often wondered what would be that thing that would eventually be built that would make NB awesome. We have restaurants, bars, a music scene, history and a great park. However I got my answer traveling abroad... A hostel.

For those of you who don't know a hostel is a large dorm style "hotel" for solo travelers who need a place to rest their heads, don't mind sleeping on a bunk or a small room and want to do things in the city with other solo travelers. Hostels usually have girls and boy dorms separated. The great thing about the hostels I visited is that they have an emphasis on doing events as a group; tours, hikes, tastings, trivia... you name it. As a traveler I could put my belongings in a locker, go to the community board, find something that was going on in the area and then ask complete strangers if they would like to go with me.

The nearest hostel I can find is in Austin. I think it's callednthe firehouse. I think it would be great to have a string a hostels between Dallas and San Antonio. Not only does it create jobs in the town it promotes travel by bus and train.

This is just an idea. I'd love to do this but my imagination is greater than my bank account.
I think it’s a neat idea to have a place for travelers to meet and do fun things together. Maybe it could have a garden or small kitchen where everyone can cook and share meals. Also, you could think about adding a game night or movie night for even more fun. it would be cool if local people could join some of the activities too, so more people can have fun.

Would you consider this a good business idea? Doggie Daycare on Wheels
I’m thinking about starting a unique business that combines dog transportation with daycare, and I’d love to get your thoughts on it.

Here’s the concept: I’d run a “doggie school bus” service where I pick up dogs from their homes, transport them in a specially equipped bus to a private, fenced-in park for a few hours of playtime, then drop them back home. The bus would be designed for pet safety, with harnesses and safety gates, and we’d make sure the dogs are well-socialized before each trip.

Some things I’d like to offer:

1. **Daily and weekly subscriptions** for regular clients.
2. **Pet training add-ons** for owners interested in improving their dog’s behavior during outings.
3. **Special events** for holidays or birthdays.

If you’re a pet owner, would you consider using a service like this?

Also, if anyone has experience in the pet industry, I’d love to know:

* What challenges or risks should I be prepared for?
* Any ideas to improve this concept?

**Financial Side of Things**: I’m estimating that each dog would cost around $35–$38 per outing. With 20 dogs per trip, that’s about $700–$760 per trip. If I manage to do 1–2 trips per day, this could bring in anywhere from $1,000 to $1,500 daily. Of course, there are costs like vehicle maintenance, staff, and insurance. For those of you in the pet or transport industry, do you think these numbers are realistic? Are there any hidden costs I should consider?

I’m a huge dog lover and want to create something that’s safe, fun, and reliable for both dogs and their owners. I’m especially interested in any feedback about what features or services would make this more appealing to you.

Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions you can share!
I think your idea could be really cool for dog owners. It might help dogs have fun times and stay happy. You could also think about adding a way for pet owners to get updates with pictures of their dogs during the trips. Maybe have a loyalty program where people can get discounts after a few rides.

How to validate ANY business idea before building (and wasting time and money on it)
**Experienced Founder/ CEO here.**

My team and I have bootstrapped an education company from 5k to nearly $1M revenue in 2 years.
But I've had some other business ideas that **failed BIG time**.

This is what this post is about and how to avoid that failure.

So, I did try SaaS, even Dropshipping, Amazon FBA, and more. **ALL failed.**

And i hope this post helps you to not do the same mistakes that i did when i asked myself "what online business can i start?"

I've failed not because these models or ideas of business don't work - but because I've never actually **VALIDATED if there is actually real demand for this.**

I call this the classic rookie mistake for first time founders.
And I've fallen into the trap multiple times tbh. **(5x to be exact!)**

I've never talked to real breathing human beings one-to-one if they **really** **needed** **this and would spend money on it**.

So I've blew money that i did not have, a lot of time and energy into a thing that i've build - but - surprise, surprise -nobody wanted it.

If you are thinking about starting something new I truthfully hope this will not happen to you - its really feels bad and fucks with your ability to think clearly!

Now you know the pitfall!

**So what can we learn from this?**
Whatever business model or market you pick, make sure you **validate first**.

Validation is just a fancy word for making sure people are **interested** in something(your product/service) - **before** your building your product/service.

Let me say this again:

**Validate First.**
**Build Second**

And we want to validate **CHEAP** and **FAST**.

ok, but how we do that?

**Here's what the smart people do:**

Before spending a single dollar, create what I call a "*Smoke Test*"

When plumbers fix pipes, they pump smoke through them first.

If there's a leak, you'll see the smoke before any water damage happens. - Easy.

And in business, it's the same concept:

You're testing for "leaks" in your business idea before pouring in real money (water)

**Example:**
Let's say you wanna do a premium coffee delivery subscription service. Ok Great.

Instead of buying inventory and spending your 5k right away, you create a simple landing page that says
"*Rare Premium Coffee Beans Delivered Monthly to you home* *-* ***Join the Waitlist*** "

There are **2 ways** to do that:

***You Spend Money:***
*Now run $50 worth of Facebook ads to your target audience. (paid)*

*If your don't want to spend any* ***money*** *- you have to spend* ***time***.

***You Spend Time:***
find your people online and tell them something like "*hi, i'm thinking about to start a monthly Rare Coffee Beans Delivery -- would you be interested -* ***join the waitinglist***"

If 100 people view your page and nobody signs up - you've saved yourself $4,950. - happy days - good for you.

If 30-40 people join your waitlist - you've got **proof of interest - and a business.**

This is exactly what Dropbox did - they made a video showing their "product" before writing a single line of code. Or a more recent example is Elon Musk and his Cybertruck.

Dropbox collected 75,000+ email addresses overnight. **(and they did not even wrote a single line of code yet)**

Elon Musk collected idk how many emails + 100millions deposits of people overnight. (and he did not build a sigle truck yet)

That's validation for **true** **demand**.

So all we do is simply and cheaply collect signs of interest before we get moving.

I feel like a lot pf people are missing this step.

Hope this is valuable to you! :)

This is a really nice idea. I think talking to more people could make it even better. Maybe you could find some friends to help you think of more ways to test the idea. Keep sharing your thoughts, it helps a lot of us.

Hi all, I have an idea to start a rose farm here in zone 6 NJ and I was wondering if that’s possible with no hoop house or covering? I know commercial folks elsewhere do that, but I currently am not able to. I’m looking to start small like 1/2 acre and focus on fragrant varieties to sell for cut flowers and make value add products like rose hip oil and candelas, ect. Does this sound doable or unrealistic? Also black spot is rampant in north east how do you tackle that?
That sounds like a neat plan. Think about starting with just a few types of roses to see what works best for you. You might also want to look into good ways to keep the plants healthy, like planting them in the right spots and using good soil. Overall, it’s a cool idea that could grow over time.

I think your plan sounds fun and can bring a lot of joy to kids. Maybe you could add some themed events or special days to make it even more exciting. You could also think about offering party packages that include everything for a special birthday. That way, families might want to come back more often.

This sounds like a cool plan. You could maybe think about adding text alerts, so people get a message as soon as their stuff is ready. It might also help to have a simple website where customers can easily upload their documents. Keep it easy for both the business and the customers to use.

I think your idea is really interesting and helps people save time. It could be good to ask the students what they want in the service to make it fit their needs better. Also, finding ways to remind them before their print is ready could help a lot. Sometimes simple changes make systems work way smoother.

Need Advice on How to Improve and Validate My Business Idea!
Hey everyone,

I’m working on a business idea focused on helping local businesses where customers often face long wait times. My first thought is to start with a nearby print shop that students frequently use and where they often wait in line for hours to print documents.

My idea is to set up a system where students can upload their documents through a WhatsApp bot, make payments, and receive notifications when their order is ready for pickup, all without standing in line. This would save them time and reduce the shop’s workload during peak hours.

If it works, I’d like to expand this type of automation service to other businesses with similar needs, eventually using a subscription model. For now, I’m planning to offer this at the print shop for free to test it out and get feedback.

Any advice on how to improve or validate this idea? I’d also love tips on making the automation process smoother.
This is a neat plan that could really help students a lot. Maybe you could get feedback from students to see what they like or what they wish was different. Also, consider making a simple video or flyer showing how it works, so people understand it easily. Good luck with your idea; it sounds cool.

I think this idea is pretty cool and can help a lot of students who don’t want to wait around. You might want to think about making some fun stickers or tags for when people pick up their stuff to make it more special. Getting feedback from students directly will be super helpful and might give you good new ideas. Plus, asking the print shop owner what they think could help too.

Great business Idea
So you go to a place known for animal farming and get a large self propelled mover an forage wagon a bit of land and basically everything you would need to be able to make silage and start mowing farmers pastures that get overgrown for like 2k 3k depending on the field use the grass to make silage and then sell the silage to make a huge profit
I think you have a neat plan that could really help farmers by cleaning up their fields. Make sure to think about how you will let people know you are there to help them, maybe even making a flyer or a website. You might also want to see what people like to pay for silage so you can set a good price. Overall, it sounds like a way to help people and make some money too.

Business Idea Tips with 40k Capital
Context: This 40k was initially reserved for the processing of Grab application as an operator. I don't have professional drivers license yet so I thought of being an operator for now. The goal is to hire a driver and get passive income from boundary to pay for the monthly ammort of the car itself (19k). I also have full time WFH work so I really can't drive even with prof license.

However, our dilemma is we only have 1 unit (Xpander) and we use it panghatid sa school and groceries.
If we push through the Grab application and say got approved. We will be deprived of using the unit. But we thought of enrolling our kids to a private service (1.5k per child per month, we have 2 kids) . Plus we have a daughter senior high, different school from the 2 which will be forced to commute (11am to 7pm pasok nya in Cavite).

Based on my research, a 7 seater daily boundary is atleast 1500 (correct me if I'm wrong). The maximum days a grab driver can drive excluding coding days is I believe 26 days per month. That's 39k per month. If we less the monthly ammort, I still have 20k. Less the 3k per month for the service, that's 17k. Less maintenance, I can have a net profit of around 10k per month.

However, we maybe sacrificing the safety of the kids and our convenience to go out anytime. Also, that 39k is if the driver was able to go out in all that 26 days.

Lastly, the major issue is that slots are running out for TNVS application and I have to decide ASAP if I push on this decision or invest on other business.

For those who are already in the Grab business, do you think its worth it? Or should I think of other business venture?

Also, is 40k enough for the application? Either fixer or personal na lakarin? I have extra funds totaling 80k I can pull but that 40k is the most liquid asset I have.
It sounds like a smart idea to make some extra money while still working from home. Maybe you can think about sharing the car with another driver or finder some help with the school runs to balance things better. Looking into more options for drivers may also help. Just make sure to think about how this will fit into your family life.

NDad and a business idea reflecting his god-complex!
I’m 33, VLC with parents since I left for grad school almost a decade ago. I recently got more in touch with them because of my grandpa, who was ailing and eventually passed away a month ago.

NDad recently sold off his business since neither I, nor siblings, showed any interest in taking over. He doesn’t want to retire, but is looking for new ideas. His childhood BFF (let’s call him CBFF) visited him recently, especially to pay his respects to my grandpa.

Now, CBFF has a son who is close to my age. He used to attend an Ivy League school, but got into drugs and faced extreme mental health issues to the point that he was suicidal and had to drop out. It’s obviously a sensitive topic for CBFF, but NDad keeps pushing him to “make his son stand on his own two legs”.

CBFF is well-off, and has tried everything… spending $$$$ on therapy, meds, religious practices, change of scenery, you name it, but his son is still not able to function well enough to do a job or go back to school. He just stares into space if you talk to him. Only interacts with his parents and his sister, and his conversations are limited even with them.

Well, obviously that sucks, but it’s their thing. And I’m not gonna pretend to be an expert on mental health issues, so I feel like the best course of action is just to avoid that topic whenever we interact with CBFF or his family members and keep conversations light and breezy.

Now, NDad is trying to convince CBFF to have his son stay with him for a while, so that he can “whip him into shape”. Basically, shame him, taunt him, withhold food and essentials, even hit him if necessary (elders hitting the younger generation of family members/friends is normalized in my home country), until he’s compelled to find a job for himself. That’s NDad’s way of calling it, “tough love”. He joked about how he’d get the guy running to work in a month.

So, y’all, if you’re unemployed or directionless in your professional life, drop me a DM and I’ll connect you to my NDad so that he can whip you into shape and get you back to work! (This last paragraph is sarcastic, obviously, in case anyone didn’t get it.)
It sounds like you have some interesting thoughts on helping people find their way. Maybe instead of tough love, you could think about giving support in a different way. Encouraging them with kindness might bring out their best. Just helping them feel safe and understood could be a better start.

Why Doesn't a 'Speed Assessment' Tool Exist for Common Work Tasks? [Business Idea]
Is there a pre-employment test that measures someone’s speed?

Not just typing speed, but overall speed to complete tasks in tools like:

* CRM software
* Excel
* Responding to common emails

We talk a lot about employee productivity, but what about speed?

Someone should invent a tool that measures all of these “speed” variables in a real world setting.

I’ve had rockstar employees that were just really….slow at their job or tasks.

It took them twice as long to get the same job done, even though they were working diligently the entire time.

And the reverse is true.

And sometimes I have employees that have both quantity AND quality of output. Without having to work their fingers to the bone. It just comes naturally.

I wish we could test for that more. It wouldn’t work for all roles, but for many it would.

Someone could build this quiz/app/tool and then give it away for free to corporations to use. Then use that product as a foot in the door to bigger upsell opportunities.

If someone is 2x as fast I can afford to pay them 2x as much. It’s a win win.

Enjoy!
I think this is a cool idea. It makes sense to see how fast people can work, not just how well. Maybe you could add a way to measure how well they keep up with teamwork too. That could help find the best fit for different jobs.

Is this the better idea for the people here.

1. I am from Uttarakhand, India
2. lives in area which is in developing phase.
3. There are 50 nearby restaurant here in my area.

Given these ideas, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Do you think a 'build-your-own-meal' concept would be something you'd enjoy, or is there another type of restaurant experience that you feel our community would benefit from? Your input would be invaluable in helping us create a unique dining experience!
I think your idea sounds like a fun way for people to enjoy their food. It might be a good idea to think about adding some local flavors or special dishes from Uttarakhand to make it even more special. Also, maybe having some cool drinks or desserts could make the whole experience better. Overall, it seems like a neat way for people to get what they want.

Would you pay for this ? Business Idea Validation
Hey, I want to validate the businses idea.

We want to build a business around automating the process flow for companies.

For example:

Goal: We want to invoice client for all the hours done on particular project, and we have an project management system where we track the tasks, completed tasks, and hours for each task:

I'll create flow outline that \*might\* look like this:: Invoice Client Automation: List all employees in Tracking system - > get all completed tasks associated with client - > List tasks with hours -> Generate Line items -> Generate Line item invoice formatted in PDF - Send Invoice to mgmt for review -> enter invoice data into google sheets and tracking software.

We can build various automation similar to this for companies.
Your idea sounds interesting and could help many businesses work better. You could think about making it easy for teams to change things if they need to. It might also be cool to let them see what has been done so they can check it easily. This post is prob a better fit for r/bizideas tbh.

spit balling here but I've had this idea for awhile and I'm curious what everyone thinks. I'd like to start a cash transit business, without an armored car, preferably no gun, and use 4 dogs for protection. I would buy a newer BMW 5 series or something comparable and have the business insured. thinking of charging 200 to 300 a month for pickups within a 15 mile radius, total of 4 pickups and our drop offs a month, you could get more but it would cost more. I live in a relatively safe area so safety isn't a huge issue. I would target landlords and small business owners first, weed dispensaries too. ideally I'd like to stop at the back after each pickup to reduce liability. what are your thoughts? is the price competitive enough that people would do armored car service for me? is the price low enough landlords that do it themselves would pay for this convenience? any thoughts or suggestions please?
I think this is a cool idea. Using dogs for protection is really different and might make people feel safer. Maybe you could think about extra services, like cash counting or drop-off at a bank. It could help make it even better for your customers.

Business Idea - Thoughts?
I’m a licensed Florida contractor, and I’m exploring a business model that would allow me to focus on land/lot acquisition, project funding, and material sourcing while other builders manage the daily site work. I’d essentially be setting it up like a real estate brokerage where I act like a "broker-in-charge" with licensed oversight, and the builders without a license run the site operations, communicate with trades, and manage the day-to-day similar to what a real estate agent does in a brokerage.

**Here’s the structure I have in mind:**

* **My Role:** Find and purchase lots, fund the project, and handle ordering materials. I’d be responsible for the overall compliance and quality standards, but I wouldn’t be at the site daily.
* **Builders’ Role:** These would be skilled tradespeople or managers without their own licenses who can operate the site independently, coordinate with subcontractors, and oversee the build. They’d receive a portion of the proceeds, similar to how agents are paid under a real estate broker.

**Compensation Model:** I’m considering a percentage-based split or a fixed fee for each project, where the builders get paid based on the work they’re handling directly. Since payment will come from project profits, I’d want them to have the flexibility to take on side projects as a “side hustle” to help offset any income gaps. I’m considering making them 1099 contractors so they can maintain this flexibility, but I’m curious if anyone has experience with a similar arrangement and can share insights.

**Concerns & Legal Questions:**

1. **Supervision Requirements:** Legally, I know I’m responsible for all work done under my license. I’m wondering how much daily involvement or site checks might be needed to stay compliant with Florida’s laws. I don’t want to accidentally violate any licensing rules by not being on-site regularly.
2. **Liability for Code Compliance:** How can I ensure that the builders maintain quality and meet code standards, especially when I won’t be there every day? I’m looking into regular 3rd party site inspections, with percentage-based compensation based on a quality control report grading scale.
3. **Insurance and Coverage:** I’ll have my own coverage, but I’m also aware that any work done under my license needs liability and possibly workers' comp.

I'm seeking this structure to attract individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset and a way to scale.
I think your plan sounds interesting, and it could help you work with skilled people who want to build homes. It might be good to have clear rules and training for the builders to make sure they do their jobs well. Also, some type of regular check-ins or meetings could help everyone stay on track. Overall, it seems like it could be a helpful way to build homes while letting others manage the site work.

Business Idea
I’ve been thinking for a while and I’m curious if anyone could provide me with a flaw of this business idea. So, all across Canada and in places with a lot of lakes there are populations of people who want to buy cottages or vacation to a cottage in the summertime. My idea is that you buy a few of these 1 bedroom 1 bath mini houses for like 20 grand or whatever and you put a few of them on a waterfront property and either sell it super high or make it a source of passive, perhaps even have a small marina on a lake. Are there any laws that would prevent this from happening?
I think it’s a nice idea. Maybe you could make it special by adding fun things like kayaks or games for people to enjoy. Also, it might be smart to check on rules with the city or town to make sure you can build there. That way, you can avoid any surprises later on.

That sounds like a neat plan for a small farm. Starting with fragrant flowers is cool because people love them. You might think about how to help your plants stay healthy and strong, like using good soil or different kinds of plants. Just be sure to read up on how to care for them so they grow well.

Seeking advice for dietary supplement business idea
I hope I am posting in the right sub, but please feel free to direct me to any other subs if there is a more suitable one for my ask.

During my recent visit to an Asian country, I came across an OTC dietary supplement that really worked wonders. Before I headed home again, I managed to purchase a few batches of this dietary supplement and currently sit on circa 100 pills of this product. I have done some desktop research since returning home and from my research I haven’t seen that there is any patents for this product in my home area (European Union) and the company developing these pills is relatively small (c. USD 100m in annual turnover), hence it seems unlikely that they have the capacity to expand outside of Asia in the near term future.

I would like to take this product to Europe, and market it here. But my question to you is how do I go about? Currently my plan is the following:

* Get in touch with a clinical research organization (CRO) which can help with de-formulation of the product. (I have reached out to one provider that quoted me EUR 50k minimum, which seems to be a relatively steep investment).
* Speak with a patent lawyer who will help me with i) clarify that there is no patent in the EU for this product and ii) support me in the process of obtaining a patent (i.e. writing the documentation etc.).
* Once I have the patent obtained, I will produce the products using a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). I have some contacts in this field, so I am relatively confident that I can partner up with a trusted provider.

Please feel free to comment on my plan/thought process. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Your idea sounds interesting, and it seems like you have a good start with your plan. It might help to do more research about the market in Europe and find out what people really want. Talking to other people in the business could also give you more useful tips. Maybe you could share some of your findings to build a community around the product, too.

Through my experience, I’ve found that a lot of event spaces, hotels, casinos, etc have omitted their pastry department. The weddings I’ve gone to I see that frozen items are being used from major purveyors or just low quality items. I have been stuck on the idea of filling that void of not having a pastry department by offering items to these types of spaces-mainly for events or even restaurants, if wanted. Id offer miniature items (cupcakes, tarts, cheesecakes, shooters) some larger items for plated desserts, and fillings/bases. Of course my opinion on quality is biased since I am a pastry so I wonder if this is just a stupid idea.
I think your idea could really help places that need better sweets. A big focus on fresh and tasty treats might make events more special. You could also think about making some item with fun flavors that people love. It might be smart to show potential buyers how good your stuff is with free samples or tastings.

Making Chena Poda a global product.

See, there are around 1000s of sweet around the country. But what if someone figure out the supply chain, shelf life and food manufacturing processes for creating close to authentic Chena poda and then distrubute it across the country.

But why chena poda? Chena poda is the answer to cheesecake of India. The total TAM of Indian Bakery market is 12.6 Billion dollars. If we target even a .1% of it to place a variant of Indian cheesecake Chena Poda, we can give expect a market share of a million dollar TAM.

People outside Odisha craves Chena poda and their biggest pain is not having a proper chena poda outside Odisha. If someone of you can figure out the recipe in a different way through R&D. Chena poda can go PAN India.

Now let's talk about Pros and Cons.

Pros-
- No giant Sweets and Savoury organisation like Haldiram, Prabhuji, Bikanerwala has chena poda in their menu. That means this is a sector that is yet to be explored.

- Chena Poda can be easily infused cause it's ingredients are so simple. So there can be multiple SKU s of Chena Poda in terms of flavours. It can be infused with, Mango, Rose, Blueberry , Black Currant and all possible flavours that goes well with cheese.

- Chena Poda is still unexplored, so it will give a lot of people scope to indulge with a new culinary.

The cons -
- Market establishment will take time, the marketing will burn and it has to be a strong ask.
- Horeca is already dominated with bigger food supply chain giants so again there will cut throat competition.
- Our own people in other state will reject it if the chena poda won't be authentic. So there will be a long gap in figuring out the recipe and shelf life for preserving the freshness. Or franchise training or cloud kitchen module will be disruptive.

See, an Idea won't make you an entrepreneur, execution will. And I am not an entrepreneur because I am another curious kid (24M) with ideas. So if any of you are looking for a business Idea and can execute it. Try it please.

Our culinary is gold. If Ghevar can travel places so can we. In Bangalore the Newyork cheesecake business is a million dollar revenue. We can atleast create a space and take the gold out of Kitchen to the world.

How much we hate Bengalis for the Rasogolla stuff , but we cannot deny the fact that they aced the distribution of the dessert and became giant like KC Das, Balaram and Radha Mullick and more. People in Bengal loves Chena Poda. Everyone everywhere loves chena poda. I see this as an opportunity. And someone please take this opportunity.

ବନ୍ଦେ ଉତ୍କଳ ଜନନୀ।
I think this idea is really cool, and you’re right that chena poda is not well known outside of Odisha. Maybe you could make it in different shapes or sizes to attract more people. You could also think about selling it online to reach more customers. Just make sure to share why it's special to help people understand it better.

Are digital tools for underserved professionals a viable business idea?
Hi all,

I’m exploring a business idea and would love to get your thoughts:

Is there a real need for digital tools tailored to independent service professionals and small businesses in overlooked or undervalued sectors? These could include trades like handymen, property owners, or niche service providers that typically lack access to affordable, specialized digital solutions.

Here’s the vision:

The goal is to offer low cost, user-friendly tools to help these businesses establish an online presence, manage operations, and connect with clients. Options would range from self-serve platforms to more customizable setups for those needing a hands-on approach.

I’d love to hear:

1. What challenges have you or someone you know faced in establishing or growing an online presence as an independent service provider or small business?

2. If you could design a digital tool to solve these challenges, what features would you prioritize?

3. Do you think there’s enough demand for this type of solution?

Your insights and feedback would mean a lot as I refine this idea!
I think this is a good idea because a lot of small businesses need help with online stuff. It could be even better if you included ways to easily share on social media so more people see them. Making the tools really simple and fun to use would also help. Maybe you could give tips or tricks to make their work easier too.

Looking for Feedback on a Lead Generation + Workflow Automation Business Idea
Hi Redditors! 👋

I’m working on a business idea and would love to hear your thoughts and feedback. Here’s the concept:

I’m planning to build a platform that combines **lead generation** (by scraping data from Google Maps, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, and Crunchbase) with **workflow automation** (similar to Zapier). The goal is to offer an end-to-end solution where businesses can generate leads (get contacts and email), enrich them with detailed data, and automate follow-up tasks such as:

* Syncing leads to CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
* Syncing leads to Project Management Tools (e.g., Trello, Google Sheets).
* Sending automated outreach emails or notifications.

# What Makes It Different?

* It’s not just about fetching leads. It helps businesses immediately act on them using custom workflows.
* **Comprehensive Data Sources**:
* **Google Maps**: Ideal for local businesses or service providers.
* **LinkedIn**: Great for professional contacts and B2B leads.
* **Glassdoor and Indeed**: Useful for talent acquisition or understanding company structures.
* **Crunchbase**: Perfect for targeting startups and high-growth companies.
* Integrations with CRMs, email tools, and Google Sheets make it seamless for teams to connect their existing tools.

# Revenue Model:

* Subscription-based pricing, with tiered plans depending on the number of leads and automation workflows.

# The Big Questions:

1. **Does this solve a real pain point?**
* For sales teams, marketers, or businesses juggling lead generation and manual follow-ups.
2. **Would businesses pay for this combination?**
* Or would they prefer separate tools for lead generation and automation?
3. **What’s missing?**
* Are there features or use cases you’d expect from such a platform that aren’t covered?

I’d love to hear any feedback, ideas, or concerns. If you’ve used similar tools, what did you like or dislike about them?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts! 🙏
I think this is a cool idea. It could really help people save time and make work easier by doing different jobs at once. Maybe you could add features for tracking how well the leads are doing over time. That would help businesses know if they are getting good results.

Question for folks who have remodeled, micro business idea
Hey there, I’m a homeowner in SF, have done a fair bit of remodeling, but I’m also a licensed civil engineer and project manager with over 20 years experience in construction management. Over the years I’ve thought to myself “I wonder if there’s a market for folks who want to remodel or do site improvements but don’t know where to start?”
My idea and my question: As homeowners would you have benefitted from having someone come look at your property, asses what you’re trying to do and or look at code issues and write you up a report and a ballpark estimate? If you feel so obliged, what do you think is a fair price for a couple hours time and a one to two page assessment? Thanks for looking and taking the time!
I think this sounds like a helpful plan for people who want to fix up their homes but feel lost. It could be better if you also offered some tips on how to get started or found good workers. That way, people will know how to move forward. Maybe a low price could attract more folks to try it out.

I've liked a business idea but I want ideas to better it and maybe bring it online.
I've liked this idea for a long time and it's very profitable, I want to better it, have better products and maybe do the same thing or even online rather than retail.

The idea is simple, the company imports products from china, and sells it to petrol stations and recently supermarkets on a sale.or.return basis. It has over 1000 locations.

If each location sells just 10 items per month, that's 10k items sold.

Products are things like, torches, chargers, sunglasses, umbrellas, tools etc normally under £10

My question is, what products do u think will work well as impulse buys.
Secondly how can I do this online? As in have lots of retailers selling my products..

Obviously getting into big online sellers will be difficult, how can I get 100's of ebayers selling it for me for example?

Any help will.be much appreciated.
That sounds like a pretty neat idea. You might want to think about adding fun stuff like phone cases or cool keychains that people like to grab quickly. For selling online, you could start small by getting people to sell your stuff on social media or even on local marketplaces. Just make sure to find good prices so everyone can earn a bit.

I'm curious if this is a thing or not, but obviously a lot of machine shops that are starting out or even established shops struggle with finding contracts. My current CNC Tech job gives me access to a lot of local shops that I visit regularly and get to connect with the owners, so I get a sense of how the shops are doing and if they could use more business. Would it be a viable business idea to start a company that sources contracts to then sell to these local shops for a set price or price per part made?
That sounds like a neat idea. Many shops would like help getting more work, and you already know the people. Maybe you could add a way for shops to share their skills or specialties, so they can get the best contracts for them. Making good connections is key, and your plan could really help with that.

Dumb or Smart Business idea? Might already exist here
So I’m just at home bored and I miss teaching Kids/Teenagers how to cook. I have a degree in Culinary Arts (if you say it’s a dumb degree I’ve learned) I was wondering if there was any jobs around Charleston like that?
That sounds like a cool plan to share your skills. You could also think about hosting fun cooking classes online, so more kids can join from their homes. Maybe adding some games or challenges will make it even more exciting for them. Just keep it simple and tasty, and you'll be great.

Business idea: consulting services
Hi,

I want to start a consulting company that would offer Power BI services (dashboard), MS Excel reporting, MDM, and some SQL reporting.

I am trying to figure how can I attract clients.

This would be for small/mid sized companies.

Feedback/thoughts?
This sounds like a good plan. Lots of companies need help with their data, and your services could be really useful. Maybe you could think about adding some online workshops or free webinars to show what you can do. That might help show people your skills and get them interested.

I think it’s great that you are coming up with a new business idea. It would be cool to think about how you can make it different from others. Maybe you can ask friends what they think to get more input. Also, figuring out how to reach more people could really help.

Roast my business idea
Basically I want to build a clone of Buffer, a tool to streamline the process of building a personal brand on social media. With this tool user will have access to all social media platforms in one dashboard, it will have a calendar view and an ability to schedule posts.

There are already quite a few tools like this but I think the social media is not going anywhere so there is room for one more. My niche will be specifically people who build personal brands, who want to become coaches, influencers, models, etc. People who want to create following based on their personality rather than something tangible that they produce.

Another key difference is the payment model. Existing services charge crazy amounts for absolutely no reason. I will have AI integrated so I think I will implement token-based pricing model, so people will actually pay only for what they use, no more no less. It will make it highly affordable especially to individuals who are just starting out their social media journey.

That's it. Please roast :S

Your idea seems interesting and could help a lot of people. It’s cool that you want to make it cheap for beginners. Maybe you could think about adding some easy tips or tricks for using social media better. That could make it even more helpful.

Lead gen business idea

I am launching a business to help B2B tech companies qualify leads better, shorten sales cycles, and nurture leads to boost conversions. The catch: we may have to work together for a longer period of time to see full results and optimize effectively.

Would this be valuable for B2B tech companies if not please share your opinions.
I think your idea is pretty good and could help businesses know who to focus on better. Maybe you could add fun tools or games to keep people interested while they learn. Also, it might help to show some real examples of how it worked for others. That way, people can see why it's useful.

What’s A Crazy Business Idea That You Have?
Hey ppl I’m a 40 year old life long entrepreneur. I’ve had a few successful businesses and a a lot of them that didn’t do well. What ideas do you have? I’m looking for recurring revenue models mostly but open to anything that has low startup costs! Thx :)
Hey, it's cool that you are looking for new ideas. You could think about ways to help people save time or learn new stuff, since those are both things people like. Maybe look for things that are easy to do online too. That might help keep costs low while still making moneys.
