Peer Leader Advisor (2)Meghan McGovernFirst Meeting is September 25 from 2:15-3 pm. Subsequent meetings will be discussed at the first meeting, but usually once a month until 3 pmPeer Leaders are student role models who set a positive example for others in our school community. As student leaders, they take on important responsibilities such as running school dances, assisting teachers in their classrooms, making school announcements, and giving tours during events like Back-to-School Night and helping during Parent Night. Peer Leaders also manage the school’s recycling program and help promote a welcoming, supportive environment. We look for students who demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and a commitment to being positive examples for their peers.7th and 8th grade students may apply at the beginning of the school year. Students will be selected based on their applications and teacher recommendations. Please note that students who are members of NJHS cannot serve as Peer Leaders. However, if a student is invited to join NJHS in the spring, they may remain active in both groups until the end of the school year.mcgovernm@sebrsd.org
