Cambium is a public benefit corporation on a mission to enable a regenerative cycle of wood reuse, in which biomass can be diverted from waste and landfill, instead put to its highest and best use – in the form of lumber, bioenergy, biochar, and other valuable goods. Their team has provided technical assistance to guide wood utilization program development for more than a dozen government and private sector land managers across the United States.

The purpose of this model is to provide volume and characterization estimates of the total woody biomass managed within both forestlands and urban & community lands in Larimer County. Utilize this model to inform plans and potential management activities. NOTE: these are estimates. All woody biomass removed and managed from any lands are project dependent. This is a snapshot in time, and does not account for forest regeneration or treated lands after the date of this analysis.

F_LAND_Overview & MethodsForestlands Landscape totals from overall database, NOT summarized by hexagons, but are a direct export from analysis. Each section is segmented by the respective geography and displays overall totals.

NOTE: these summary tables aggregate data differently from the data summarized by Hexagons above (orange tabs). They focus on raw layers (e.g., ownership, watersheds) individually and without the spatial constraints of hexagon boundaries. This method can produce slightly different totals than displayed in orange tabs.
