Each module is taught in R and covers a fundamental macrosystems ecology concept; students learn introductory ecosystem models that harness NEON and GLEON datasets. The modules are flexible, adaptable, and widely accessible to a range of undergraduate courses and have been assessed through the Science Education Research Center at Carleton College.
