(Support for Parents of Teens and Adolescents) Mom Group - Meets Tuesdays at 12:00 PM and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM.
What is SPOT? SPOT is a safe space for moms of teens and young adults to connect with other moms who might also be struggling in parenting a child with mental health challenges. We listen, support, and gain perspective in what is in our control and what is not. Facilitated discussion on emotional intelligence, coping strategies, and mindfulness is all incorporated during our time together.

Weekly Discussion Groups + Family EducationWeekly Family Support Group (Share and Care) Groups continue to meet at regular time (6-7:30 pm Thursdays) on Zoom. Educational Family Discussion Group Topics Family discussion group via online until further notice. Contact Tom Franklin for a Zoom invite, tefrfc@gmail.com Each week from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm NAMI Family to Family facilitators will lead discussions on various topics of interest to families who struggle with issues related to a family member’s mental health disorder. Each week a different topic is discussed using informational handouts as a discussion guide. These sessions are free and don’t require advanced registration. Family to Family Classes Classes continue to meet weekly at regular time (Wednesdays at 7-9:30 pm for Santa Barbara class and 6-8:30pm in Santa Maria class) on Zoom.
