Welcome Home!

Hi there!
So you're going to Burning Man for the first time. Or maybe you're coming back as a veteran but you're determined to be more prepared this time around. Awesome! I'm sharing with you here my Burning Man packing list spreadsheet, which I've developed and tweaked over the past seven years. If you're perhaps feeling concerned about knowing what to pack, I believe the way I've organized these lists and the explanations provided about why these items are important will help guide you and comfort you as you provision and pack.
You'll note that this packing list does *not* include things such as water, trash cans, shade structures, rebar pullers and most kitchen items. The camps I've been with (More Carrot, a Black Rock City Farmers Market, and Pink Heart) provided a ton of camp infrastructure. I used this packing list is for my personal prepartion, for my personal care, and I encourage you to do the same. Start here. Then make a copy of this spreadsheet and adjust it to your needs and situation. (Click File / Make a Copy)
If you have suggestions on how to make this list better or want to reach out to me, you can find me at hello at jessienewburnwriter.com, or text me at ‭(443) 338-0831‬ (10 a.m.-4 p.m., eastern standard time).
