Students recognize the essential value of attribution in order to engage ethically and legally in research and in the presentation of information

Specifically, students will be able to:

* Find, evaluate and appropriately cite information sources in MLA format
* Orally provide proper attribution when paraphrasing or using quotations in a presentation
The outcome of this SLO will be measured via a TRAILS post-test as well as by a presentation rubric developed for this purpose.1. By June of 2019, 80% of all students in each band of the TRAILS pre-test will move up to the next level. Those in band 5 will stay in the same band.
Band 1: 0 - 20%
Band 2: 21% - 40%
Band 3: 41% - 60%
Band 4: 61% - 80%
Band 5: 81% - 100%

2. By June of 2018, 80% of students in Information Exploration will demonstrate the ability to accurately provide attribution and to correctly cite their sources by scoring 80% or higher on the works cited component of their author study.
I see my students on a fixed schedule.
