Health Care For Uninsured Patients - Online resource will be updated - https://bit.ly/2vXZ6hv

The Ontario Ministry of Health has expanded health care coverage for patients without OHIP during the COVID-19 outbreak. This is a brief guide for working with uninsured patients over the coming months. It is for people who work in hospitals and staff from health and social service organisations who are navigating patients through the hospital system.
Emergency Funds: In addition to OW and ODSP recipients, now all low-income families have access to discretionary funds to address emergency needs, and those funds can cover people's needs for up to 48 days, with the potential to renew the support afterward, even within the same year. Applications can be made online through the MCCSS web site, using the blue emergency assistance button. https://www.mcss.gov.on.ca/en/mcss/programs/social/index.aspx A COVID-19 Emergency Benefit for people receiving social assistance. https://www.toronto.ca/home/covid-19/covid-19-social-support/.Food Hampers From The City of Toronto in partnership with the Red Cross is providing food hampers to people in need in Toronto.

People can call 1-833-204-9952.
