2. Applications must be postmarked no later than January 16, 2026.

a.   Mail sent from Nickerson must go to Wichita to be postmarked, therefore please

mail early enough to allow for that additional time in the USPS process.

II. Interviews will be scheduled and completed for all applicants by February 20, 2026

A.    Interviews will be scheduled at the high school or the Senior Center in Nickerson

III. Applications will be evaluated and awardees selected by March 6, 2026

IV. Letters will be sent to all awardees and their parents during the third week of March 16-20, 2025.

A.Student requirements

1. Applications must be received no later than January 16, 2026.

2. Student must attend annual alumni banquet,
23
 a. first Saturday in June,
24
i. Scholarship awardees, only, will not be required to purchase a banquet ticket
25
ii. Student must arrive by 6:15 pm for individual and group pictures
26
3. Student must provide proof of enrollment by email,

a. Fall semester proof is due between July 1 and July 23,
28
b. spring semester proof due between December 1 and December 23,

i. must include name and mailing address of school,

 ii. Student ID number,

iii. Student current email address.

a. 2025 scholarships will be $1200.00 for multi-year curriculum; $300.00 paid the

fall semester, $300.00 paid the spring semester, $300.00 paid the fall semester

of the second year. and $300.00 paid the spring semester of the second year.

VI. Please provide a reference letter recommending you for consideration for an Alumni Association scholarship.
