6	Are only sampling grant applications due by 3/29/24, and emergency assistance/infrastructure grant applications are accepted on a continuous basis?	All three grant categories are due March 29th 2024. Emergency assistance funds will remain open until the end of October. Once the initial round of applications are awarded the program will reevaluate the budget and reopen the Infrastructure and sampling grants if the funds are available. I recommend that if your program is debating applying for Infrastructure to submit an application on or before the March 29th deadline.
7	will an additional rolling round for applications open in May 2024 if remaining funds are available?	If the budget allows the sampling category may open back up in May 2024 for additional applications. A press release will go out announcing the rolling application period.
8	Will notifications of award be issued on May 1, 2024?	Notifications will go out May 1st 2024.
9	In the past we have requested small scale sampling as we only sample quarterly for our wastewater influent, effluent, and biosolids. Would this still be the best way to move forward since the amount will be less than $10,000 for the year? Does the grant only cover one sampling event or would it cover all of ours?	I would recommend applying for a standard sampling grant. If awarded, you will receive assistance from HDR on all sampling events. The grant could cover several rounds of sampling throughout the year. Typically, the request is for quarterly or semi-annual samples. The grant program is accepting applications until March 29th.
10	How many pages do expect to be ideal for the Sampling and Analysis Plan? Can you provide any general guidelines in terms of content?	Typically sampling and analysis plans have between 5-10 pages. The document should include the following: -Sampling schedule and frequency -Sample locations/map (if you've already identified sites - this is not required but helpful) -Field procedures -Lab selected for analysis -Analysis methods used -Data quality and management
11	Can we submit multiple applications for each funding category? Example, one for infrastructure and one for testing.	Yes you can submit multiple applications for different categories.
12	Can we apply for testing that has occurred in the past?	The grant does not cover any costs from past work done. I can only reimburse for costs that accrued after the contract execution date.
