Conclusions/Notes
2
3/26It's scary to live in CH right now. HIgh density and hit cases - along with death to case ratio
3
CO is one of the least dense populations, but the death to case rate is the highest.
4
CH cases reported are almost double than NJ even though NJ has double the density. This might lead to conclusion that space in density is not a factor. But we should also consider that CH was contracting before US due to proximity of EU spike zones
5
3/27Changed "probability" to be more focused on just showing % of population contracted. Too hard to account for density to think that this could be even a distant measure for the chance of contraction
6
Adding NY - but figure misleading because it is state and not the density of NYC
7
4/13Data observation note. % Death to Cases is slightly misleading. In reporting deaths, it is not possible to claim that this % is of those that are known. The report is simply death by covid19. Meaning, people that have died from Covid19 may or may not have been in the case reporting pool.
8
Second data observation in the reports from worldometer. For cases reported location, we have to assume little to no mobility from the persons' reporting location. Meaning, I'm from NJ - I was tested and diagnosed while in CO on vacation, that counts as CO case - from there we know the technical options for the human: I either quarantined to the point where I could return/relocate, I relocated (perhaps by driving) all the way back home to NJ or another location, and if I died due to COVID19 in another location - I would be included in the count for the state I died in, not necessarily where I contracted it/because a confirmed case.
9
4/24Started tracking New Cases and New Deaths reported to easily see the change rates.
10
5/27Back filled all the data from worldometers.info You'll notice some chatter in the earlier dates when I didn't log that day for yesterday. The website had some inconsistencies with its historical tracking totals and the daily "yesterday" figures as I went along. Essentially, the data was "trued up" over time.

5/31Discountinued personal tracking.
