PA8/19/20138/19/2013John Wcant.catch.fish.ever@gmail.comNorristown, PAsmall garden on side of house200-300 plants100% lossself diagnosed by comparing pictures with University websites.not confirmedPlanted Genovese, Lime, Heirlom, and sweet basil from Burpee seed. 8/19/13 Noticed some yellow leaves on the Genovese. Went of vacation returned 8/28/13 and every last plant was destroyed. I will not even get seeds this year. The Lime basil was not affected. Same thing happened last year, but to a lesser degree. Only planted sweet basil last year. Growing conditions not optimum (5 hours sun). Have grown basil for 12 years, 2012 and 2013 are the only years I was affected. Shocked at how rappidly it took over this year.
