Coastal Change Analysis Project (C-CAP)The Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) produces a nationally standardized database of land cover and land change information for the coastal regions of the U.S. C-CAP products provide inventories of coastal intertidal areas, wetlands, and adjacent uplands with the goal of monitoring these habitats by updating the land cover maps every five years. National Integrated Drought Information SystemThe National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS) grew out of a number of activities. The National Drought Policy Act of 1998 gave rise to a National Drought Policy Commission which ensured collaboration between government agencies on drought related issues. Following the Commission’s recommendations, NIDIS was envisioned in a 2004 report from the Western Governors’ Association. National Fish Habitat Action Plan (NFHP) The NFHAP Coastal Spatial Framework and Indicator Datasets provide a necessary component of analysis to complete the 2010 NFHAP Assessment (published by National Fish Habiat Board 2010).
