Reportedly grown from seed brought from Costa Rica in 1930, moderately resistant to anthracnose. The flesh is deep yellow, smooth and fiberless, and is very sweet with a delicious spicy flavor. The flesh is often described as ‘buttery’. This is a very popular mango in North and Central America. Ripening Cues: Skin turns to a deep golden color and small wrinkles appear when fully ripe.
