Dyott died in 1861, per Philadelphia death certificates index] In 1860, Dyott Jr also sold 429 Cooper Street, a frame dwelling, to Lewis Wilkins for $1,800, deed dated November 20, 1860. Frame dwelling "twenty feet in front, and on on the back end eighty-five feet in length or depth..." (Deed book 36, page 473). Dyott also owned the adjacent lot with a brick dwelling (427) and sold it to Thomas Atkinson in 1860.

Kearney, Commanding, to be mustered into service, subsisted and forwarded to the Seat of War at once. ... H.C. Gibson, Captain, Recruiting Officer, Camden N.J." [Note: This is not the Captain Gibson who was in charge of the Fort Delaware prisoner of war camp -- that was A.A. Gibson, per Philadelphia Inquirer.] West Jersey Press May 29, 1861: "West Jersey Rifles - This fine company left for Trenton on Friday last, under the command of Capt. Gibson; they numbered one hundred and one men, with the officers."
