1If a task is completed, but then later the task is undone while doing a following task, can they get the score the task?Scoring is done "end-state." This means points are scored based on the physical state of the mission after the round is over. If a mission criteria is met, but later undone by accident, then points cannot be scored. For example, mission 04 states "precious artifacts is not touching the mine. - 30 points" - if the artifact is touching the mine during scoring, regardless of whether it was removed prior or not, the criteria is not met at time of scoring and hence receives no points.

21) On our last run, we would like to press the STOP button on our robot while it is running and leave it there without bring it back home. Will we get a precision token penalty ?
2) Last year, when we wanted to rescue the robot, the referee told us to "STOP ! DONT TOUCH THE ROBOT!" Will the referee stop us from rescuing the robot this year? What should we do it we get this kind of referee? Don't sign and get a second opinion from the chief referee?
1) "If the team does not intend to launch again, they may stop their robot in place without losing a precision token. The robot and anything it is in contact with should remain in place where it was interrupted."

As long as the robot stops, and the hands of the technician don't interfere with the mission props or motion of the robot, then it is fine. Using the hand to physically hold the robot and stop it from colliding with a mission prop so as to earn points is not allowed.

2) All referees are always briefed on the same set of rules and stop procedures. This year is no different. To remove all doubt, before the match begins you may verify with the referee of the way you intend to stop the robot. In the event of a referee saying that "you shouldn't touch the robot" while attempting to stop it and end the match, you may respectfully request to consult the chief referee to clarify any doubts.

3If our robot breaks down mid-match, what are we allowed to do?If the robot breaks down partially or completely outside home, you may return it to either home area while incurring an interruption. In the home area you may attempt to troubleshoot or repair the robot on the spot within the 2.5 minute round.

4In mission 12, how do we consider "the sand is completed clear"?

In the presentation for Innovation project and Robot design, what presentation equipments (projector, TV/screen, etc) are available, or will team need to print out everything?

If team only has 2 members, can they stand at Left Home in some missions and then both move to Right Home for other mission, or both have to stand at each side all the time? Thanks
"Sand is considered completely cleared when the pull activator is past the line on the mat" as per Mission 12 stipulations.

Innovation project presentation: held in a room with an HDMI display. Teams have the option to utilise the screen. Printing of handouts is entirely up to the team.

Robot design presentation is done at the robot games table - no HDMI screens are available there. Teams are also not expected to bring excessive presentation equipment; handouts are likewise up to the discretion of the team.

Team members "cannot switch sides during the match." For teams with two members, one technician has to remain at each side of the table.

5Are attachments with suspended parts that extend over the home area allowed during the robot’s starting position setup?Yes. "Equipment stored on the table may extend past the left and right walls only, as needed" . Robot Game Rulebook, page 15. However, do not, that the 'extend past' rule does not apply to Launch areas.RGR page 15.
