Pragya BahadurAIV22032DelhiAug 6, 20187895465104Dignity of Work

Pragya interviewed one Rickshawala,
Mr.Raghu,of age 37 is from Kanpur,Uttar Pradesh living in Delhi with his family. To meet the both ends,he works 10 hours per day and his wife,Mrs.Raghu works as a cook in three homes.Even after such a painful and tiring day, they earn just 2000-2500 rupees per month.

He come across many difficulties during work.Sometimes, people bargain and don't pay enough.

We don't make an effort to bargain when it comes to branded clothes and accessories. But we bargain with these poor people who are earning their living after overcoming so many obstacles and difficulties.

We should pay equal respect to low class workers as they are the base of our society and we can't make on our own without them.

The session started with the interactive session with the adorable kids of classes 3&4.We taught them how to introduce themselves in English and basic manners while dealing with people, like when to say "Sorry" or "Thank you" and how to greet people.I still remember Ramesh confiding in me his utmost desire to become a Pilot and helping people reach their destination. This was followed by games like Black and White,Chidiya Udd.They were given candies for introducing themselves properly at the end of the session. It was 5 and it was the time for them to do their daily recitation of the bhajans and prayers. We were fortunate enough to capture this moment when these little kids sang in unison in their innocent yet beautiful voice.

We had a great time with the kids and learnt an important life lesson which is to dream big regardless of the circumstances .They made this easier for us with their constant smile and their mischievous grin as they never hesitated to learn...

Tanya Goel.AIV22025 DelhiJul 25, 2018Home and streets.Dignity of workTanya conducted the activity,“Dignity of Work”.
Work is a part of God’s plan for us to find fulfillment in our lives and to build up the society.Work is worship and hence one must do it whole-heartedly,irrespective of the task we perform.
Tanya interviewed her domestic help,Mrs.Sunita.She is an aged lady of 43 years but still works really hard to support her family.Being a single parent, she has the responsibility of feeding three children. Her husband expired years ago, leaving the family in distress and despair.Despite of having a hearing disability, there’s always a bright smile on her face which inspires me to have a positive outlook towards life.Sunita mentions,“I want to educate my children so that they can stand in front of people with dignity.I never want anyone to look down upon them like the way everyone does to me.”
She also came across a 29 years old cobbler. He has been in this profession for the last seven years. He never got an opportunity to acquire knowledge because of the financial instability in the family. He believes if he was sent to school,he could get a better life for himself.

Bhawna DhapolaAIV22019Jul 20, 2018Government primary school banjarawala Child SafetyActivity-teaching touching safety rules: bad and good touch.
By looking at the current circumstances in our country I decided to choose something which will be helpful for the children. Sometimes what happens that when a child trap in the vulnerable situation like when they get harassed by someone they don't know how to respond so there I think if he/she will be taught in advance then the chances of harassment would be less. There were around 35 students from first grade to fifth grade. I explained them about good and bad touch through my own experience that how by not opposing the harasser he will try to subjugate you more that's why most important think is to oppose him. Whenever if any person touches you and you feel uncomfortable just say please don't touch me I am feeling uncomfortable and you will see that he will stop doing it because he know that you are powerfull and can protect yourself so I told them these basic things and they were sharing there own experience and were asking questions as well.

Sonalika Sharma, Anjali BajajAIV21983, AIV21830Jul 13, 2018QMSSelf ImprovementAnjali Bajaj, invited me to take an online classroom session with a bunch of girls from 6th std. at QMS. The session happened over Zoom App. It was my first classroom session. We talked about Basic Manners and Etiquettes. It was delightful to see girls knowing the importance of good manners and etiquettes. I started the session with game, The Countdown, after which I discussed with them their opinion regarding importance of Good Manners and Etiquettes. The girls participated actively but due to the technical glitch I had to conduct the session on mobile, I was not very audible to the girls but the session coordinators Pranjal Agarwal and Rajshree Sikaria, and Bhavya Agarwal were extremely helpful. Another session that enhanced my knowledge and working with Adore Indiahttps://drive.google.com/open?id=1PGbz-8IF69lehGYejCxQGMTrZP1iBNrq

Guncha Shadaan, Anjali BajajAIV21863, AIV21830Jul 12, 2018Jyotirmai Vidyamandir, Garcha Road, Kolkata Extra coverWe conducted a session in Class 6. We started with the game Adorable Annie where students had to say an adjective with their first letter of their names and rest of students have to say the previous names before saying their name. Then we continued with the words and they had to form from the last alphabet the same way. From this they learnt the new words, to have a strong memory and concentration. At last we initiated the Happy Reading Project where books were distributed and will be circulated among themselves to inculcate reading. It was an amazing session for us too.Students enjoyed and learnt.https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jbKSp6v1ebwZtgm8SgVzDjYAzlUP86Io
